If you're working your way through the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor achievements, take a brief pause to check out what's new in the game's latest patch.

Patch 8 arrives today and is pretty short. According to the patch notes, it mostly focuses on making the game more accessible. To that end, there are two new features as well as some improvements to the game's slow motion.
The first new feature is a high contrast mode, which EA says "allows players to desaturate the environment and use colors specifically for narrative and gameplay elements, making them stand out more." Then there's an audio ping option to let you "echolocate objects and interactable elements nearby."

The update also adds more slow motion presets: 30%, 50% and 75%. "This will allow users to switch between multiple different slow motion values, and not just the custom value and the default game speed." Lastly, there are some general performance and stability fixes.

If you're already looking ahead from Survivor, then it's good to know that Respawn is already working on the next Star Wars Jedi game.
