It was announced by CD Projekt back in 2022, and hasn't really seen the light of day since — that's not too surprising, given CDPR was working on major updates for Cyberpunk 2077 as well as its big expansion. That expansion went on to do very well. Ian loved it in his Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty review, and it sold extremely well in 2023.Cyberpunk 2077 had massive issues at launch and for a long time after. CDPR's work on these has gone a long way to bringing the game up to the excellence it deserves, and it'll be interesting to see how the devs take this on board when handling what sounds like an even more ambitious sequel.
