Fable fans believe Xbox is teasing something for June's showcase

A new tease from the Xbox team has lead many to believe that Fable could make an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11.

With Summer Game Fest kicking off next week, the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct events are just around the corner. While Microsoft is keeping its cards close to its chest, a new Twitter post from the official Xbox team has got many thinking that Playground Games' Fable could be at the Xbox Games Showcase.

Could Fable be appearing at the Xbox Games Showcase?

Xbox took to Twitter to share a video for the upcoming showcase set for June 11. Interestingly, the video features a trail of glitter leading through someone's house to their computer, also covered in glitter, with a glowing Xbox Games Showcase advert on the screen. The entire 21-second clip is accompanied by a track that is strikingly similar to Bowerstone Market from the Fable 2 OST. Of course, a combination of a glitter trail and lighthearted soundtracks could be totally coincidental — Doom, Gears of War, Wolfenstein, anyone?

A recent poll we ran which asked you what you're hoping to see during the Xbox Game Showcase saw Playground's Fable reboot receive the most votes, with 9.23% of players wanting to see more about the game. That was followed by 8.13% of players hoping for new Xbox Game Pass additions and 7.58% looking forward to new announcements.
