The Game Pass library gets a little bigger today with the addition of two new games! Both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Figment: Journey Into the Mind are coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass and will be playable with Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Another Ubisoft game makes its way into Game Pass today in the form of the excellent action-RPG Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In Valhalla, you play as Viking warrior Eivor, who travels to England to establish a new Viking clan by raiding settlements and eventually becoming embroiled in a conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order. It's an absolute monster of a game, and if you do start this one, unlocking all base list Assassin's Creed Valhalla achievements will easily take you over 100 hours to accomplish. On top of this list, you also have various title updates and some DLC packs with additional achievements to unlock.

Figment: Journey Into the Mind (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Musical action-adventure Figment: Journey into the Mind also hits Game Pass today. Playing as Dusty, you will explore the fantastical land of Figement, which is described by developer Bedtime Digital Games as a "strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges, and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads." After nightmarish new thoughts start to emerge, it's up to you, as Dusty, to help the mind face its fears by solving puzzles and beating down the nightmares. Unfortunately, we don't have enough data to give you a completion estimate for the Figment: Journey into the Mind achievements, so if you completed this one, let us know how long it took you down in the comments.

There are plenty more games coming to Game Pass in January, including the superb Resident Evil 2. Sadly, Game Pass will also lose four games soon.
