Vampire Survivors had many free content updates in 2023, which added more than a few new Vampire Survivors achievements, and it looks like developer Poncle is on the warpath for 2024 as well.

Poncle has updated the Vampire Survivors blog on Steam, teasing some of the features it plans to bring to one of the best Game Pass games, Vampire Survivors, in 2024. While the blog does say that the team might not be able to get to everything it wants to add this year, we can expect numerous "free content updates of Whiteout-size."

According to the tease, it looks like we can expect the first update to rollout some sometime in February. Codenamed Honey Moon, Update 1.9, or "Space 54," is currently in testing via Steam's public beta branch but will arrive on all platforms next month alongside new quality-of-life and performance improvements. Scattered throughout the rest of the year, we'll also get a number of free content updates of a similar size to the Whiteout update last year, which added a new map, characters, weapons, achievements, and more — all the reasons we need to dive back into the fray!

As for other features, Poncle is still working on bringing online co-op to Vampire Survivors. Local co-op arrived last year, but taking the feature online is proving to be a "huge challenge." The same can be said for cross-saving, due to many regulations like GDPR and CCPA. A beta mode is expected to arrive later this year, which will test cross-saves between Steam and Android initially, so progress has been made.

On top of that, the developer continues to work on bringing the game to additional platforms, has several partnerships in the bag for cross-media projects like TV shows, and Poncle is working with other indie developers for "Vampire Survivors-adjacent experiments." Still, we'll need to wait to hear more.

While we wait for Vampire Survivors to hook us in with more content, why not check out some of the other games coming to Game Pass in 2024? You might find something to fill the gap!
