Players with an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass can play Black Matter's incredible WW2 FPS Hell Let Loose on Xbox Series X|S and PC today. Although it's a current-gen-only game, Xbox One players can jump into the action via Xbox Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Hell Let Loose is a squad-based first-person shooter set in some of the bloodiest conflicts of World War 2. By using aerial and satellite imagery, Black Matter has recreated battlefields like Omaha Beach, Stalingrad, Carentan, and more for large-scale 50v50 multiplayer battles. Unlike some of the best FPS games like Battlefield, Hell Let Loose has an unforgiving damage system and pressures you to work as a team to capture sectors and dominate your enemy.

It's brutal as Hell (terrible pun usage, I know) but it's an extremely satisfying and visceral experience that should be at the top of the list for all FPS lovers — and with an estimated completion time of 80 to100 hours for the Hell Let Loose achievements, you could be playing for a while!

Join the chaos of war and be a part of the most iconic battles of the Eastern and Western Fronts, including Carentan, Omaha Beach, Stalingrad, Kursk, and more. Hell Let Loose drops you into the action, where you will have to fight across fields, bridges, forests, towns, and more war-torn environments! Lumbering tanks will be dominating the battlefield and crucial supply chains fueling the frontlines, you are essential to the colossal, combined arms warfare.
Hell Let Loose prioritizes team play, tasking players with managing resources, calling in bombing runs, and assigning objectives to players as a Commander or Officer. When not in those roles, you can choose from a number of classes, including Medic, Tank Commander, Spotter, and many more, all using historically accurate weaponry, vehicles, and equipment.

As for other games coming to Game Pass this month, Microsoft has revealed that eight games will join the service in January, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Resident Evil 2. As for games leaving Game Pass in January, you have until January 15 to finish off four games before they're gone, including two Persona titles.
