Resident Evil free Xbox Series X|S upgrades could launch soon [updated]

I thought that Series S update would add FPS boost and no ray tracing. Instead it has ray tracing option unlocked but no FPS boost.

I somewhat understand, but that's why most of my favorite games I have finished on PS, Steam, and Xbox, triple the awards if I really care all that much. I get the draw hearing that ding. But I won't let it stop me from playing a great game if that's the only hurdle.

Resident Evil 2 is a SMART DELIVERY game. it just got an upgrade. the XS just popped up on the game icon. THERE ARE NOT 2 RE 2 GAMES NEXT TO EACH OTHER in my library.

what does that mean?!
you own an XBO:
you can play control XBO version but not the XSX version so you have to install the propper one.
but for RE2 you just install the game. its smart delivery and that means the game checks, ok its XBO, lets install the XBO files

option 2, you own a XSX
you can play both version of control
but RE2 will now install XSX files. its running with better performance.

and then there are companies who sell you that smart delivery option as 2 different games. like activisions cod games and thats why there is only 1 list.

also many of the fast 1000GS brands are reselling their games as XS only version with their own list to get more cash (energy cycle, in rays of light, a winters daydream etc etc etc)

but since the resident evil games just got a smart delivery update, and thats a decision capcom made, THERE IS JUST ONLY ONE EFFIN LIST. if they had rereleased specific XS version, like rockstar did with gta v, there would be 2 lists. but that would mean you had to buy the game again. how ironic that you wrote M$. lmao grow up and dont complain about things you dont understand.

first of all RE invented nothing on its own. it is a copy of Alone in the Dark and from there it just evolved.
we have the original concept 1,2,3, Code Veronica, Outbreak 1&2 and Zero. from there they developed it into the first game that wasnt a "real" resident evil (i guess) which was RE4, which is considered on of the best videogames of all time. then came the (in my opinion) worst game, the 5th. then 6. 6 has some flaws BUT here we saw how people didnt understood what the RE story was. it was the logical conclusion what umbrella was trying to do: making supersoldiers. Then people complained about ORC being "not a real" RE game because they didnt understood the concept of spin offs.
and now they complain about 7 because its a first person game?! and how isnt it a real RE when its about survival? like the first games?!
heres the problem: if every RE would be like the first games, people would complain how the franchise didnt evolved.
we have:
Old style RE Zero, RE 1, RE CV
the middle section 4,5,6,R1,R2
the remasters RE2, RE3
the spin off ORC
the new games RE7,RE8

ALL on Xbox one/SX and people are still complaining
