It's funny to see fanboys blame Microsoft as if they had anything to do with the production of the game laugh

But considering most reviews say the multiplayer is still good and most people are paying the $70 just for multiplayer, I don't think Activision cares too much about the poor review scores sadly.

You can't speak the truth on here about companies without getting your post deleted, but the company that makes COD took a hard LEFT turn and doesn't care about games anymore. The gaming industry in general only cares about getting your short term cash these days. Cobbled together is a great way to describe this game. I hope they pull their heads out and get it together soon..

Each to their own. I'm really enjoying it.

Open work levels feel like a smash up of CoD and Hitman.
Zombies is a lot more fun than "training" zombies around a set level.

This game is stitched together from scraps of previous games and Activision is hoping you're stupid enough to believe it's a new game. It's shameless.

Anyways, we'll know this game is gonna blast sales this year, as always does and that's why Activision doesn't give a damn about this game doing badly.

Since when did Call of Duty have cutesy anime characters, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and the Boys characters fighting in ultra-realistic war environments? It's almost like a parody of itself.

Not to mention they like stealing ideas from other shooters like Battlefield and Halo because of the yearly release cycle (which they should axe now with Microsoft in tow)

Does anyone remember the days when Call of Duty was a historically accurate and dark WW2 shooter? Not saying that every COD game needs WW2, I'm just saying that it took itself seriously and had better setpieces.

Seriously though, this entire rebooted trilogy kinda is. The way they've handled it all has been confusing too. I jokingly said to Raycevick that people would want MW3 remastered instead of MWIII. I guess that's going to come true. Maybe this franchise should stop being the mandatory annual. Bring on Soldier of Fortune!

Still haven't played MW2, waiting for the prices to drop a bit first.

I'm actually having more fun just on the zombies alone than all of MW2 multiplayer.
As for replayability, I finished MWZ on Monday, just 3 days after I started, and 40 hours in.... and I'm still playing. A few days ago I fought Orcus 4 times back to back with friends and randoms, and have spent a lot of time helping others complete their missions.
This might be my favorite COD zombies I've played in general - it's just good fun, and it's relevant in the sense of leveling your guns.
I haven't played the campaign, but basically every aspect of the multiplayer is a direct improvement on MW2's - which I grinded over 100 hours to get the mastery camo, and am continuing the grind on MW3 for both MP and zombies camos.

Not "hoping"; they know. You know, I know, they know that sales will justify continuing the practice.

Exactly this! The only thing they need to do is keep releasing "games" that say COD on it and it will sell regardless of quality. This MW3 DLC proves that

I feel like the Treyarch game next year is going to be more promising. Especially for Zombies, we'll probably actually get round based maps.

Cold War had a good formula for Zombies imo, how you can upgrade your stats so you have passive stats.

How many devs work on a cod game? 500? That number can’t be far off. Even if it’s 300, this game should’ve been doable in 18 months, especially when they get assistance from the other studios in the last few months to fix bugs and make finishing touches. The fact the game released with a minuscule campaign and as broken as it is makes me think they need to really figure out what is going on at their studio. Multiplayer should’ve been rock solid when it’s essentially the same every year with the same maps, yet spawns were totally botched. I think one of the maps they’ve had to fix spawns on for like 3 different cod games. THE SAME MAP. Do they throw out all the knowledge they get from previous years? I just don’t understand. There needs to be some serious changes and reconfiguration of the studio to end this repetitive process because it should not happen with studios making as much money as they are
