Go check the evidence my good man, mental health issues that require prescribed medication are orders of magnitude more common amongst people who self identify as being left wing.

    Woke is a left wing term which describes itself. If instead we speak of an all pervasive, intersectional, Neo Marxist agenda: an ever decaying purity spiral, that blames the grievances of all of the world squarely on the shoulders of white men exclusively. In which adherents compete with each other to have the greatest progressive stack of grievances, because the only valid moral and political currency isn't truth, but falsified victimhood. With the ultimate intent of those funding and promoting the agenda as seizing and redistributing the world's resources to a tiny clique of elites, whist the remaining 99.99999999% of mankind 'owns nothing and is happy', would that be ok with you? Or do we need to qualify that with a quick lesson on how Marxism was transformed by institutions like the Fabian Society and the Frankfurt School, and later numerous think tanks, in doing so shifting the economic owner/worker grievance meta that enabled bloody revolution in poor countries, but didn't wash in prosperous states, into today's 'blame the white man for everything', frogs in the pot, tip toe into totalitarianism angle?

    I can see you're cooking but no. 99% of people who use "woke" truly just suffer from a lack of critical thinking and a deficient vocabulary. They saw it on TV and that's why they use it.
    The left anointed itself as 'woke' as a point of pride though... look up the history of the word. Yet somehow 'woke' becomes invalid and a goto for stupid people if it's used by ideological opposition? So if I stand up and announce I am woke, I am intellectually and morally superior, but when the guy next to me points at me and says woke, he's a moron? As I said, doublers standards. It's in popular use because everyone understands the implications of it's presence, in whatever sphere it has metastasised into.
    This is a discussion about the video games awards and GTA VI. I genuinely feel sorry for all the sensitive Conservatives who feel compelled to force their politics down everyone who will listens throat regardless of relevance. You watch Fox news we get it, we just really don't care. Try to stop seeing everything in black and white, left or right, you might actually enjoy yourself for a change.

    It's a conversation that started because someone quoted me and start talking to me. I don't think your sensibilities were a consideration for either party. That's not me ramming anything anywhere. That's me engaging in polite conversation with someone who politely offered me their opinion. Never watched Fox in my life, I'm English and my TV hasn't been used for broadcasts for almost a decade. I thoroughly enjoy political discussion as you can see, it is one of the things that makes me happy. I've been involved on and off with numerous political discussion groups/forums for approaching 2 decades, I know more about politics and the myriad attendant topics of interest than the vast majority of people, so nuance isn't a problem for me.

    You seem to be unaware of the increasing polarisation of the political spectrum, and the subsequent truth that in fact yes, politics is becoming ever increasingly black and white and left or right. I don't care that you don't care, the conversation existed before you inserted yourself into it, not all discussions that you'll find online cater for you or exist for your benefit. If you wanted to @ me with a rebuttal of some form I'd be happy to engage, but offering up zero substance besides the numerous false charges you felt the need to vent isn't productive for anyone. And finally - and obviously being hyperbolic - I wouldn't piss on a conservative if they were on fire. Oops, looks like nuance isn't your forte either.

    I don’t understand all this talk about the microtransactions in online. I’ve played the online for over 1000+ hours, never have had the temptation of buying shark cards, nor was I bombarded with messages telling me I should buy them. They don’t provide any extra benefit to the people buying them, online gives you money without even really trying.

    Not sure why people are hating on the online because of them.
    You may not use shark cards but many people do. Thus, GTA Online has become a pay-to-win game. Shark card players are using real money to buy the most powerful weapons and vehicles. It's not fair to the people playing legitimately--including you. smile
    But money isn’t hard to obtain in the game. You can get the best weapon/car in the game with just a few hours of grinding. You have to have the skill to be able to use the weapon/car correctly.

    Wouldn’t consider it a pay-to-win, you aren’t winning anything in online. It’s an open free-roam, do whatever you want. I rarely played online to go around killing other players. Racing around the map and role playing is what most people do, though you do have that one guy that wants to kill everybody, but it’s not because he spent $100’s on shark cards. If there was a weapon that could only be bought with real money, then sure, I’d be complaining.

    Just my take, some people view online differently I suppose.

    It's a question of fairness. You may not take advantage of shark cards and may not be inconvenienced by people who do. However, many people do pay-to-win are victimizing people who are unwilling or unable to do likewise.

    A company that runs a MP game has an ethical obligation if not a legal one to ensure that all gamers are on a level playing field.

    Rockstar is calling this the first trailer, to me that translates to, look buy this game despite this is all we really have. Gta 6 will definitely sell when it actually releases but I guarantee it has no chance to beat the day 1 x360/ps3 sales. What I find with GTA 5 is I can't really get into the game, I play it a bit on the x360 and got the X1 version and despite the excellent graphics I simply aren't interested.

    Yes it says NEXT Grand Theft Auto. So it is obviously going to be GTA VI. GTA IV remaster wouldn't be the NEXT GTA would it.

    I’d like to remind everyone, that Blizzard announced the next Diablo and everyone (!) thought it’s gonna be Diablo 4 but it was a stupid mobile game that actually got revealed!

    So it’s not impossible - although highly unlikely, I’ll give you that - that it’s not a GTA VI trailer. Just wait and see… they specifically left the actual game name out of their tweet. They could’ve just said GTA VI trailer but they left room for speculation - so here I am speculating.

    Just keep it cool. We’ve waited years, what are some more weeks in comparison of that?
    Also there is no guarantee this will be good. Many important ppl left R* in recent years, policies have changed and AAA games tend to release broken these days…
