Now that GTA V is back on Game Pass, the JP Xbox One version can be downloaded and played by changing your Xbox location to Japan. It is a separate list from the 360, One, and Series versions of the game.
Your online character is shared between the normal/international and JP versions, and many online cheevos auto-pop, or pop after one additional action towards the achievement (notably Doomsday’s Masterminds and Elitist only require one setup and one elite finale, respectively, if you have the cheevos unlocked in the international version).
