GTA 5 could leave Xbox Game Pass soon

    Rockstar is so stingy they gave the game for free on epic to keep forever. But on game pass, which is paid subscription they keep adding and removing it like wtf just enjoy shrek cards money

    Isn’t GTA V on on off Game Pass in very short spans of time pretty often? I seem to remember it only lasting like 3 months during it’s first run on Game Pass…

    I played the game immediately after it got on Game Pass, knowing this wouldn't last long. Really enjoyed it (again). I also got the notification and I also heard it is coming to PS Plus. They usually get our sloppy seconds (and occasionally the other way around), so this is definitely happening. Better get a move on if you have yet to finish the game.

    Ok, so what are the odds it comes back in half a year? I haven't been keeping track of its additions and removals in the past years, started it recently and don't have enough time to get anywhere with the Doomsday update.

    It has previously been twice on Xbox Game Pass. From January 3rd to May 7th 2020 and from April 8th to August 8th 2021.

    Difference is gta San Andres is a Single Player game only while gta 5 is mainly online nowadays. they would most likely be making lots of money off people buying in game money that own it on game pass. which I assume Rockstar and Xbox both get a cut of.

    I'm sure their plan is to to take it off cause everyone who got a series x or gift cards for Christmas who want to play it will buy it now. probably be back on game pass in near future. just a way to get people to buy it.

    I was kind of hoping to take advantage of the cloud element of it being in game pass for a little out of the house grinding.. Haven't been able to get to the game yet due to backlog.. And the task of 100% GTA V is no small task.
