Valhalla is such a boring slog. That game almost ruined AC for me, thank god Mirage came along and made me love the franchise again. Valhalla was the first AC that I had no will to complete entirely. Didn’t even play the DLCs despite owning them as I got sick of the world, the protagonist and the combat.
Is mirage actually good I have it sitting on my game stack but cbf to even play it.

Everyones got an opinion. I think Egypt and all those other yellow brown scenerys are boring. Valhalla is the only ac that peaks my interest. Real productive conversations.
Anyways I keep hearing its coming to game pass today but I've yet to see it
I’ve been waiting for it to appear on game pass so I can begin the long download. I just finished origins on Sunday so was looking forward to playing this.

Is there a setting on this site to get it to stop automatically adding these game pass games to my collection? I already had to fix it a few weeks ago when it added everything else.

Figment looks pretty interesting, and I’ll of course be giving AC a pass as I have with all the others. sleep

I had the same experience. Valhalla is so bloated.
Some series just aren't meant to be Open World. Origins was Ok, but Syndicate was better than the 3 Open World Assassins Creed's

My favorite game in the Assassins Creed Series was Assassin's Creed Odyssey followed closely by Assassin's Creed Origins. I also felt Assassin's Creed Valhalla was a bloated mess and took many steps backwards (especially how infrequently new gear was doled out). I think this series works great as open world and the smaller sandbox of Assassin's Creed Mirage was functional but forgettable. I'm hoping Assassin's Creed Codename RED returns to what made Odyssey great.

I really enjoyed Mirage. A smaller game with a smaller map, but it still felt like I had plenty of opportunity to experience new environments and different gameplay. I thought it was a solid entry.

I agree, Odyssey is my favourite game since Ezio’s trilogy and I really hope Red gets that balance right again. They need to change the combat from Valhalla. It was terrible.

Valhalla doesn't appear on PC, does it appear to you?

Figment 1 before Figment 2, at least keeps things in order.

I don't think that I will touch Valhalla

Yes, when you click on your Gamertag in the top right of the site and go to the wrench icon, you can select which services/subscriptions you have and you probably have gamepass selected there.

I enjoy Valhalla as I love the imagery and scenery but I’m overwhelmed by how much there is to do. Puts me off abit.
I can't face Valhalla... (still playing Odyssey! Lol) but I'd recommend the shorter version they did for the standalone Discovery Tour (Viking Age). Uses same maps as Valhalla but with different quests. A lot shorter, and totally non-violent (!) so no combat, but quite fun. Gives another 1000 GS.
(Not on GP or sale right now, though.)
That sounds great, I’ll check it out!

There are several different short stories, and you can switch to/from free-roaming whenever you want, using different characters that you unlock. You can also gallop around on a fairly awesome reindeer!
    Happy New Year!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla was good but got repetitive quite a bit. But its good it's on the cloud.
    Every Assassin's Creed is repetitive.

But that also will remove all of the other benefits of having that setting enabled. The annoyance of having to manually remove games I don't actually own or have played is a recent thing that only I seem to take issue with. I spent a lot of time carefully curating my collection page so that everything is properly labeled. Now it's just a matter of selecting the notifications as they appear and removing them there. I just hope no more of my games are changed from "Owned" to "Xbox Game Pass" again.

For me this was my main game during the covid pandemic, so I have fond memories of it. I still play it regularly to this day to complete daily/weekly challenges. It's the atmosphere that draws me back, it's become my comfort game.

I don’t think any of those games should be over 80 hours. 40 to 50 is the sweet spot
That is interesting, was the crossbow gone?
