That's an attractive price on Leisure Suit Larry.

Anybody wanna recommend The Council? Seems to go on sale at that price on the reg but it stands out here on a particularly weak week.
I started episode 1 yesterday, funnily enough. The setting is intriguing. Using the walkthrough you will mostly listen to characters talking, and walk around a bit collecting coins to ensure you get enough XP to reach max level. For £3.59, can’t really argue.

I picked up Assassin’s Creed Mirage last week for £30. Managed to get that done 2 days ago and trade it in at CEX for Guardians of the Galaxy, Valhalla, and Vampyr for a further £2. Once I’m done with those I’ll be able to trade them in for around £18. Which means I’d have spent £14 on all of the above.
If you’re waiting for AAA titles to be rock bottom prices on the digital store, you’ll be waiting forever. This is why I like to mix it up.

From this sale, I’ll pick up the council complete and a couple of POWGI titles.
There’s plenty of options around. It just requires a bit of digging sometimes.

NieR:Automata is great if you didn't catch it on Game Pass.

Personally pretty happy with the sales this season, you've got to look at them as a whole over the entire period rather than focus on one week or another.

Go to the main TA sales page and sort by discount, there is page after page of highly discounted, really good games. If you're one of the people who is constantly disappointed by the sales, consider that maybe you've simply exhausted the Xbox library and need to look at getting another paltform.

Anyone played ‘an evil existence’? Might give it a go for £2.49 but seems to have a very low rating. Also walking dead destinies is dropping like fly dung 😂will wait for it to be a fiver
Funnily enough, I have. Its a very generic horror walking simulator. Controls are clunky but the game doesn't outstay its welcome. I also picked it up for cheap last time it was on sale.

It's like a very cheap, very mediocre, very short version of Resi VII.

How many years will it take for Microsoft to make back their investment into Activision Blizzard King? Microsoft already owes the US government close to 30 billion in hidden tax schemes.
I'm really not worried for them. You can check on the Internet their Q4 2022 results:
    - $52.7 billions of turnover, +2%, versus +11% on Q3,
    - $16.4 billions of benefits, -12% compared to Q4 2021.

Bad year, but they'll rebound and did a pretty honorable result last year.
Ah yes, the good old performance indicator, doesn’t matter if the product produced is average(in this case below considering the money they can play with), only matters if you can make other people make your numbers go up in stocks. Well done gamblers!

Luckily I’m still hooked on BG3 I guess since this is a disappointment. facepalm
Working hard to get Starfield off my top game of the year! Shame it won't be BG3 due to time constraints..

Meanwhile, the Nintendo store for its Switch has 4,000+ games in sales right now, and around 2,000 every week, outside the holidays periods. OK, most of them are unknown shitty independent mobile pixel-art titles, but we can find more or less famous old games for $/€/£0.99 or so, like Syberia, Car Mechanic Simulator, Yesterday Origins or Submerged, instead of 15. It's 90% discounts. And there are hundreds below 2.50.

Please be inspired by them, Microsoft.
MS don't choose the prices, publishers do.

The vast, vast majority of which is total shovelware, just like the Wii catalogue was 15 years ago.

The voice acting is kinda bad. However, the story line is interesting, it has decent graphics, and there are actual consequences to your choices. Definitely recommended at that price if you like narrative adventure games.

As I always say, I know MS doesn't, but they are above everything, those are their consoles, they are the big boss, so they should have the final word. They have an image to keep up. Letting always the same old publishers/contents doing whatever they want an come back each week isn't a good move, to my opinion. I know they don't care about their image and about the users' comments, but they shouldn't. While certain games have been on sale 256 times a year and some other none, there's a problem. We can't oblige a publisher to discount their things, but here's anoher bad move: they prefer sell 3 copies at full price than 100 discounted. facepalm

Yep, that's what I mentioned. But we can find some gems amongst them. But we have to search in details because they are like an oasis in the middle of the shitty desert.
