Amazed it isn't a 10 lol but still this game is far better than I had ever expected. After 30 hours still feels like I've barely scratched the surface.
I'm from Buenos Aires and I say kill em all!

    I think a 9 is fair.
It's a great game but sadly when you vear away from the hand crafted material the quality sadly dips.

I completed the story mode today and started New Game Plus with 25 achievements left to obtain, which is exactly how I intended it to be. I wanted to experience New Game Plus with remaining achievements as a challenge.

Honestly, I find this game truly amazing and believe a 9/10 rating is spot-on. The only aspect that slightly lets it down, in my opinion, is the complexity of the menus. They could benefit from a better design when your travelling or looking at planets etc

But I think this review is spot on in my opinion anyway and this game truly is amazing imo

Unpacking is a relaxing game lol but putting games like cricket in a game pass is blasphemous

Definitely a 10 in my books.

I got on after work and by the time I was done fiddling with the character creator and trying to decide traits it was bed time.

I'm liking that high reviews. Gives me hope. I've only got about 7 hours in it so far.

There's already 5 persons that completed all the game achievements... Hacks?

Played a couple of hours but its all a bit confusing and not getting into it, is there a certain point you need to get to to understand things and enjoy it

You probably need to get to at least 4-7 hours before things start to click more. I'm at about 30 and there are still things I'm figuring out but would consider those more advanced items that are more along the lines of do you want to do them vs. you need to do them to play the game.

I think a 9 is good. It does what it set out to do, and very well. More developed space gameplay would have been very nice, and can almost certainly be achieved with mods, but that was clearly not the focus of Menufield. As ever, Bethesda provides the sandpit and we choose what to do with it. And this is a lot more compelling than Fallout or Skyrim!

Been playing for about 5-6 hours and so far I'm disappointed. Even though technically bigger than Bethesda's previous worlds it feels smaller to me, probably because of the exploration been menu based then once you finally get to a planet there doesn't seem to be anything worth exploring.

The UI could definitely do with some work. Seems like they went for style over functionality. Gopher recently uploaded a video of a mod that doesn’t do anything more than change the colour of the health bar the lower it is. Such a small change but def. should have been implemented from the start.

Really letdown with Space Travel being relegated to fast travel menus, it makes all the worlds and galaxies feel disconnected.

Well, this is it — the big one, Todd Howard’s brain baby, Bethesda’s latest behemoth; and after a lengthy wait full of anticipation, I was honestly a bit nervous starting it up. When my character opened their eyes to find themselves with a stranger sitting across from them, I was half expecting them to tell me it was good that I was finally awake. But before any Skyrim nostalgia could surface, someone else had dumped a helmet on my head and it was off to the space mines with me.
Great review—especially, the ‘personal experience’ perspective. I’m enthusiastic about the game but I cleared my September gaming calendar for Phantom Liberty.

As a consequence, I’m only working on the DLC pages for the @Jetfire Six most excellent The Outer Worlds Walkthrough & am messing around in Cyberpunk 2077 to reacquire forgotten muscle memory.

Once Phantom Liberty is in my rear view mirror, I look forward to burning daylight on the “massive scope” of Starfield: A single player RPG—what could be better? Oh yes, a 9/10 rating from a TA review. smile

I'll be torn between playing it blind and use a lot of time on multiple playthroughs for the achievements or use guides, drop the surprise and optimise instead of.
Hopefully there is a roadmap of some sort by the time I'll get to this.
