    Hi Everyone

So I’ve basically completed everything in AC:V and was just working my way through TFS achievements a few months back. However, around the time I completed a couple of achievements, Xbox was having issues so some of them didn’t unlock. I’ve since then tried to recomplete them and they simply aren’t unlocking.

The kick one simply isn’t tracking and the others are all story based apart from the dragon and the favors(which again I’ve done over and over). I’ve tried a complete restart of the Xbox and my current game but that doesn’t fix anything. Someone suggested a fix on this forum but it only worked if you have an earlier manual save to revert to which I don’t.

Seems like the only solution is a complete reinstall of the game with a new character which I was hoping to avoid.. I was hoping the recent update would fix this but it didn’t. any advice? I’ve reached out to Ubisoft but no response.

I had the same problem with the Xbox issues but I just kept on playing and they randomly unlocked.

I did just complete this game yesterday and found that I had to kill Nidhogg twice without using an elk shrine in order to pop the associated achievement, but other than that, everything unlocked fine.

So I had two achievements glitch out on me. Crossing Dokkerland and High Kick.

I tried all the usual methods to try and resolve the problem (Restarting the game, hard resetting the console, clearing the cache etc.) to no avail. I hoped to avoid the more drastic measure of reinstalling the game, so I chose to leave that for last.

Luckily I came across a mention of reloading an older save which worked perfectly for me.

To be clear, this was not a save from before I started The Forgotten Saga, unfortunately, I had long since overwritten those. But I had a number of saves from before I had actively pursued any of the achievements. The save I reloaded was from after I had played a single run, getting as far as Dokkerland in it.

Upon reloading the save I had to redo all of the requirements once more, getting all 10 kicks from ledges and redoing all of the encounters and quests in Dokkerland. This finally unlocked these last two achievements.

So in short, as long as you have a save from before you fulfilled the requirements for the achievements, you should be able to reload and try again.

I highly suggest anyone reading this make a save before starting The Forgotten Saga, just in case! Making additional saves after reaching certain thresholds might also be a good idea, as you won't have to restart entirely from scratch if some of the more time intensive achievements bug out.
