    Guessing this was aimed for me? The limit is just too tiny and there are others in the household that use the internet as well. The computer updates alone take up a big chunk of the bandwidth leaving not a lot free later in the month. This service isn't just a 'slow down if you go over', it's full on shut off. Can't risk it. :( It prevents streaming content online and doing a lot of other things. Just trying to keep the computers up to date uses far too much of our limit as it is like I said. Upgrading a game system is just not possible on theis internet that's available to me here. I'm in the country so it likely won't ever change. :( Not spending several hundred dollars on a system I can't use. I've actually heard of far too many of the games having Day 1 patches even on disc so it's really not an option. When you have to watch your bandwidth carefully like this you pick up on all these little details that others tend to skip over because they don't have to worry them :(
    Look into Starlink.
    What about Starlink?
    It's a new satellite service not fully out of beta yet. They are low orbit satellites for a much much lower latency and they right now claim "unlimited" internet which is not the case (nothing is unlimited, there's always a limit of some sort) and no actual plan data available for when it's fully officially opened to everybody. What Starlink doesn't tell you is that their prices they hid behind their beta testing wall that you had to be invited to even see to try and make it "affordable for low income families" is currently a $1000 total setup and that it's not a 100% uptime service still and you had to pay then and there with the invite (it expired after a short amount of time) and that you were not even promised the service after you paid until a "new slot opened up for testing". So you are paying $1000 for something you may or may not even get to use at this point. Sorry, but not everybody can afford that -_- Starlink isn't an option due to price and the way they are currently running it.

    If you’re just looking to show off your Series X’s power, most of what you want is on Gamepass:
    Forza Horizon 4 and 5 look stunning.

    Games like Riftbreaker (especially late game) really show off the power, animating thousands of enemies attacking your base, you can even see the bullets fire from the tiny defensive drones launched from your drone towers, all while 3 dozen other towers blaze away.

    Older games with upgrades, like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, look mind blowing. Water in relation to ambient sunshine (or lack thereof) and weather effects can almost disorient you with how different they are. I know this one isn’t on Gamepass but it’s the best example of a One game with the most startling upgrades.

    Both Subnauticas look great.

    Guardians if the Galaxy: in for the stunning looks.

    Just talking the sale:
    Immortals: Fenyx Rising for $15 is great (just the base game, all the season pass stuff is laughably bad, if you buy it anyway, you were warned).

    CODE VEIN Deluxe for $16 is a steal if you like action games with the JRPG aesthetic.

    Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate + Injustice 2 Legendary Edition for $25 is actually a great deal, both games look amazing on the Series X, are competent fighting games, and have great story campaigns even if you don’t much like fighting games. Plus the original back compat Injustice: Gods Among Us is only $1.25 right now, so you can get that part of the story too.

    Doom Eternal looks great, not sure that’s the best price though.

    I know when I got mine I felt a little disconcerted, like “now what?” I think it’s that the system’s software is 95% the same experience so feels more like a marginal PC upgrade than a traditional console upgrade experience.

    But trust me, as you play more and more you’ll find a lot of stuff to love (aside from the small internal hard drive, that’s crap).

    Special sales like this we can't automatically scan for as we don't know when they are going live. They have to be scanned in manually when we're in the office. It also takes a very long time to send out notifications to all the users for the hundreds of games on offer, so give us a chance haha.
    Does the notification feature work properly now?
    I remember it being bugged and only working for weekly sales and not the bigger ones, If I'm not mistaken?
    I believe they were fixed earlier this year, though they aren't instant and do take a while to come through!
    I guess It's safe to say, that it hasnt been fixed. Didnt get a notification and by now its been so long, I dont think it'll happen.
    Could you forward this to the devs please, so it can get fixed for real?

    Well, I hope it works out in the end for you I couldn't imagine being stuck with 60GB. Iv never have had a data cap my average per month is 3 Terabytes

    Haha 60gb is bad enough but before our previous plan was 10gb/month -_- That one had unmetered bandwidth from midnight - 5am though which made a huge difference. This new one we were forced to upgrade to doesn't so it's a flat 60gb limit -_- Yeah, your lucky. I do know a lot of base plans still have a limit but theirs just gets slowed going over it and not shut down. I usually hear the limit is 1.2TB/month which is pretty decent though.


    The 3 games I looked at I think I'll skip this time. The one will go on sale again and I can wait, 1 some screenshots & reviews I found didn't make it sound that great and the other was a bit in question if it would run either way but reviews made it sound boring after so long so meh, I'll wait. I feel I'll be stuck working on Don't Starve forever still anyway for PC :P 2 of those achievements are pretty hard to earn haha (without console commands, I don't use stuff like that).

    Finally decided to bite the bullet on Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider and couldn't pass up on the LEGO Marvel collection at that price. The backlog just keeps getting bigger.

    Shadow and Rise are amazing Tomb Raider games, enjoy.

    Maybe I am missing something with all the requests for wishlist notifications, but isn't it just a link to the sale page, filtered to items on your wishlist? This link shows my wishlist items that are in the spring sale.

    I bought two point hospital for 50% off and then it randomly dropped to 60% off a couple of days later so I got a refund, intend to buy it again before the sale ends, just to let people know in case they did similar
