Isn’t there a thing that if you play a game using this service for the DLC, if you cancel and don’t then buy the DLC it will mess up your game save? Also, will be buying mirage, will never subscribe to this. Gamepass blows this out of the water.
I seem to have touched a nerve Thomas, sorry to hurt your feelings and for having an opinion. Let’s go back to the world revolving around you eh?

In theory could you just keep making new Xbox accounts and using this offer?
You completely missed the part where this offer is only til August 9th didn't you?

Wish they did this last month instead of a free 7 days trial. Played almost everything I wanted to play during that week besides one dlc. Feels kind of a waste to grab a month just to play one dlc now.
Will you love me when there's nothing left to love?

Might go for this to tick off the few quick completions in the list, but then my motivation for this service will be further reduced because it's overpriced and I own a lot of the games on there already. Ubisoft actually has a lot more in its back catalogue including many 360 titles that would interest me if the price was half of what it is.

They seriously need to rethink their pricing. Pricing it above GP ultimate while offering substantially less value is not a winning recipe.

And yes, Ubisoft+ has been around for years.

I am baffled by the number of people that seem to think that Ubisoft+ is a failure. The service is almost as old as Game Pass. People buy it...

I guess it's time to rush the two south park games
if only the PC versions have xbox achievements too I would consider it

Cannot find a single game that either I didn't already complete or want to play for even a dollar.

That's because you're on TrueAchievements. It's hard to find any rational thought or opinion here. This community feeds itself on its own negativity. You can literally pay one buck to get access to more than 60 games for 30 days, it's objectively a good deal even if you don't like the service, but you can count on one hand the number of positive comments reacting to this. Instead, all you see are the same comments you see on every Ubisoft+ news, complaining about the price or the company in general. Yet, it's popular everywhere but here. Don't worry, after some time, nothing is baffling on this website anymore.

They'd have probably been better off doing what EA did and not including new games so they can charge less for the subscription.

Also, there will probably be cases where people pay £15 so they can play a brand new game for a month and complete it, rather than buying it for £60+, which is bad for them too. I might do that with Mirage, cos once I've completed a game like that, I don't tend to play it again.

Does anyone know if you can double-box with Ubisoft+ like you can with game pass? As in sharing the game between two consoles or does it only work for your main?
  • Posted on 28 July 23 at 16:34
Well when they did the free trial, I couldn't get my account activated due to a problem on THEIR end. Spent the entire period with customer support tickets only to end with "yeah this is something we gotta fix, keep your eyes out for that." So didn't get to do the trial nor was I compensated, so not giving you a cent Ubisoft 🙃
Notice: Thank you for noticing this notice. I have noticed your noticing and shall notify those of note.

I won't ever subscribe to Ubisoft+. Just include it into Game Pass Ultimate and get your guaranteed 2 Dollar per subscriber. That's over 50m Dollars a month in recurring revenue for you, Ubisoft. Don't even have to have all your games Day 1. Put them into the service 30 days after release to still make bank from people who cannot wait.
Yeah that's not going to cover it.

Might be worth it to knock out a few of the smaller titles I don't want to own.

Why do people give business advice to big companies here?

This model has had a huge amount of success on PC, as has EA+ (or whatever it is called) that included Day 1 EA games.

But sure. You know what works better than Ubisoft who have been doing this for years, almost as long as Game Pass.

My comment wasnt about the $1 trial but their regular monthly cost.

And just bc people pay it doesnt mean it is priced appropriately, in my opinion anyway. Or maybe MS is just underpricing GPultimate. Either way it's no skin off my nose.

And as far as negativity, if you look back at my history on this site I am one of the least negative people on here. I was merely stating an opinion regarding what I perceive to be an overpriced subscription service. Others can of course feel differently.
