The only USP is the "impossification" stuff where you make coasters do jumps and stuff. Other than that Planet Coaster not only already does everything Park Beyond does, Planet Coaster does it much better.
PB is like a budget version of PC, where they copied everything PC already does, and then made it all worse.

I was so excited for "Planet Coaster." Aaaaand then it sucked. For me, anyway. I'm genuinely happy that the game has its fans; sadly, I'm not one of them.
So it is with much more reserved optimism that I approach "Park Beyond." Based on the previews I've watched, the reviews I've read, and the research I've done, it appears to be a spiritual successor to "Thrillville," which makes me happy.
Fingers crossed because, much like Fox Mulder, I want to believe.
I'm curious cos I'm completely the other way, I love Planet Coaster but I despised Thrillville. What don't you like about PC? And do like about Thrillville?
Just wondering what type of game you are looking for because this is much closer to PC than Thrillville.
You know how certain games come along and you can just lose yourself in them? You pick up the controller, and before you know it, hours have passed. You're not aware of it. You're not cognizant of it. The controller becomes an extension of you, and it just seems effortless.
"Thrillville" and "Thrillville: Off the Rails" are like that for me. For me, they were seamless from the very beginning. Even "Zoo Tycoon," made by the same developer as "Planet Coaster," had that effect on me. I still adore "Zoo Tycoon."
When "Planet Coaster" came along, I couldn't have been more excited. Unfortunately, I was pretty much let down from the very start. While the game looks amazing, I found the user interface to be clunky. Way to busy. It took me too long to accomplish certain easy tasks. In short, everything felt like a chore, from the smallest minutia to the biggest set builds.
Where "Thrillville" and "Zoo" felt welcoming and fun, "Planet" felt needlessly complicated and NOT fun.
I tried! Oh, I tried. I gave it about three hours. Just fiddling with it. Attempting to get into that familiar rhythm. The zone, if you will.
It never happened. As my frustration rose, the sense of novelty quickly dissipated. Whatever its strengths, "Planet Coaster" didn't jive with my gaming sensibilities. And no one was more disappointed about this turn of events than me!
"Planet Coaster" has its fans, and I think that's great. I don't wish to condemn the game at all. The two of us just didn't mix. It happens! I'm hoping "Park Beyond" is a return to form. I've got the demo downloaded, so, hopefully, that will give me a sense of whether I jive with the main game.
Or not!
