I'm really starting to get into RTS games, I loved Gears Tactics and liked Transformers Battlegrounds. How similar is Halo Wars 2 to those? Really interested in picking it up but just looking for opinions.
Those two are turn based strategy while Halo Wars is real time. What you probably want to look at is XCOM 2 which is one of the best in the genre and on a steep discount with the dlc here too :)

Can anyone tell Activision we do not live in the 360 era anymore where we can keep asking idiotic retail prices anymore for year old games with DLC no one plays anymore? 🤔🙄😑

At last The Messenger is on discount. I think it's the first time since it's been released two years ago.

Are you talking about CODs? laugh
Well, just wait a bit until MS close the deal and i believe we'll see some honest sales after that...or even better, games added to GP

I'm a bit confused with Control Ultimate Edition. That version (xsx) itself includes all DLCs but it's also included the xbox one Control and its DLCs as well?

Nevermind. The Ultimate Edition bundle includes both stacks with dlcs

Mortal Kombat 11 and Injustice 2 bundle is tempting even though I've never even played Injustice
First Injustice is probably still free, so you can just claim and try it out.

They're different genres buddy. The games you mention are turn-based tactical shooters. RTS games are things like Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, Halo Wars, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War...

They often feature base building (some don't, such as Company of Heroes), and generally have you amassing troops which you order around the map in real time to meet your objective.

Turn based games are the ones you've been enjoying. You should really enjoy Xcom Enemy Within, Xcom 2, Valkyrie Chronicles 4, Phoenix Point, and maybe even Wasteland 2 and 3, or possible Empire of Sin.

Look up someone playing Red Alert 2 or Age of Empires 2 for classic examples of RTS.

    I love both genres!

Then there's Real Time With Pause - games such as Desperadoes, Commandos 2, Blade of the Shogun.

Another great genre to look into!

"LEGO® DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition" 18$ is just insane.

I got Collectors Edition with Steelbook, Season Pass etc. for only 4$ at Gamestop on sale nearly 2 years ago.

I would also recommend the Banner Saga series. Turned based combat and a great story.

Thanks for the lesson, guys. I'm gonna pick up XCOM based on your advice and get Halo Wars 2 as well, looks like it could be fun even if it's a different genre.

For CoD games it's just better to hit an actual store and buy a physical used copy.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning FATE Edition is 50% off. Good timing for people who don’t have the game. This edition includes the recently released DLC which is expansive in scope & well worth the purchase.

Definitely going to grab The Messenger. I got all the achievements on Steam and started a file on the Xbox when it was on Game Pass for a bit. Love that game so going to complete it again on Xbox One. LEGO Marvel Collection is insanely tempting... I've completed LEGO Marvel Superheroes on the 360 and Steam, thinking I might grab the collection as an excuse to replay it with my friend and I've yet to play the other two... for $12 LEGO Avengers and LEGO Marvel 2 being in the collection is that worth it? How are those games compared to the first one?

Got Agents of Mayhem and also Grow Up which isn't listed here.
Friendly forewarning, Agents of Mayhem had an unannouced server closure it seems so it isn't fully completable anymore if you care about that. 1 unobtainable.

I didn't even know there was a Hitman HD Collection for 360 o.0 I have the trilogy on PS2 still actually and love those games :D I did get Blood Money from GWG a year or two back and had a lot of fun replaying that with achievements. I'll have to look into the others though if they are on 360 also. I'd buy them if the price isn't bad (on disc of course, not digital :P)

Editing to say it's called the "Hitman HD Pack" :D That's cool, I'll have to watch for a decent priced copy on disc if I can :)

You will be pleased to find the disc version is the HD Collection (as long as you can find it, that is). The achievement list was split because of the digital release.
