Does anyone have any experience getting a month of Ubisoft+ to just mop up the DLC? I finished AC Origins last week and have been working through Valhalla.

Additionally, based on the ratings, people didn’t seem to like AC:V DLC, especially the mastery achievements.

My own opinion is that the dlc is very weak and those mastery challenges are pure dog shit. I dont mind not being good enough or something being hard but they are broken.
If you are going for the full completion of everything I would recommend to actually purchase it as you will need to step away and come back, especially as you will be under pressure to do it within the ubisoft+ timeframe

Playing long time completion games like this AC Valhalla is NOT effective on any subscriptions like GP or Ubi+, its way better to just wait and buy this kind of Triple-A games from big scale sales like the year-end countdown sale. You can easily grab Gold editions which include the base game and all DLCs with achievements for around $15 to $20.

If you buy the 60% off season pass now, you still have to buy the base game in case you couldn't complete it before the game gets withdrawn from GP. Consider the completion is 160 to 200 hours, that will normally cost you 2 or 3 months, you will have to pay the subscription fee to access the base game. If you don't care about completions but only want the DLCs, now its probably your chance.

The Mastery Challenges are not DLC, they are TUs. You should be able to access them through GP.

Regarding the original question, the three DLCs are very similar in structure, they all throw you into a new map with their own side stories. You can try completing the base game and the TUs first, if you have a lot of free time it is certainly doable within a month. Check the estimated competion times for each DLC, iirc they were fairly accurate.

I bought a months Ubi+ to play Mirage and it worked well, Ubisoft games can be awkward about letting you access a save without all the content you've had installed at one point. Like I can't play my Origins save on the cloud without having the DLC installed.

So I'd be worried if someone uses a months Ubi+ for the DLC you will need stay subscribed or buy the same version to continue playing which can work well if it's the last content and don't intend to touch the save again

Honestly, this game will be on sale every week including the DLC. It's not a deal if it's on sale every week.😂

    Actually this is not true.
Use the GP to complete the base game, then 1 month ubi plus should be more than enough to finish up DLC. It took me 6 weeks for everything and I wasted way more time than necessary.
Challenges are all patched and doable in a couple of tries.

I own every AC DLC except for Valhalla but the Season Pass not including the last DLC makes this a no for me. Way too many games in my backlog, anyway.

Bought the complete edition for 20€ just some weeks ago, it was a special 24h deal and this formula was repeated for other games for almost one week (only valhalla was worth, at least for the price of the dlcs I have the complete experience)

Ps: it was weeks before the gamepass announcement, now it doesn't matter since I own all the series except for Mirage.

Or just wait for the complete bundle to go on sale again. I picked up the game and all DLC for less than $31.98 USD. That was nearly a year ago too so you should be able to find it even cheaper now.

By the time I will start this game (in a few years), there must've been a better deal.
