For some reason Splinter Cell: Conviction is not showing up as $5.99 on the Xbox 360 store. It's still showing it as $19.99. I would like to play on my 360 if at all possible

I am wondering if it is finally time to get the Borderlands 3 ultimate edition. I don't own the base game or any DLC. Doesn't seem to be dropping as much as I would have expected at this point.
    Disturbed in the House!

If you buy the Xbox One version you will get the Xbox 360 version for free.

Lol, they're TOTALLY gonna shut down the 360 store in a matter of months. It's so obvious, with all these games going up for sale on 360 all the time now. They're pushing it HARD
Why would they do that? BC Xbox 360 games still sell even on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.

It is not like Playstation where PS3 games cannot be downloaded and played on PS5 consoles and therefore rarely sell.
Um, the Xbox One versions can be purchased from the Xbox One store. They were talking about Xbox 360 store. It’s got to go, just a question of when.
I don't know about that. Xbox CEO Spencer promised to keep on supporting and preserving their older Xbox catalog so what you are saying goes against that particularly those games that were never made back compatible and only accessible on the Xbox 360 which they still have sales for occasionally for some games.
Well the Xbox 360 store is currently offline, and at least one of the Xbox 360 games on sale this week is only discounted on the Xbox One store.

Now I know I should have bought it yesterday as Resident Evil Village was 50% off yesterday, but today it's only 25% off. You just lost a sale Microsoft

I don't know if this is a problem, but I don't have an Xbox One. I only have an Xbox 360

Xbox 360 store is still offline! Clearly Microsoft don’t care that much about preserving the older Xbox games catalogue laugh

Try the “Buy” button on a non-BC game, such as The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Achievements
which should take you to link hidden

Some time ago TA replaced all their links for BC games from the Xbox 360 version to the Xbox One version. Go to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Achievements and click the “Buy” button which will take you to the Xbox One store.

Then from your Xbox 360 console, either search for the game in the Xbox 360 store where it will now show as purchased, and click “Download Again”, or go to your Purchase History or Download History and click “Download Again”.

But with the Xbox 360 store currently offline, even that may not work.

I have been waiting for Deniable Ops: Insurgency for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction to go on sale for 4 years now :(

I 'bought' Shinobi back in 2009. IIRC, you could only buy with Microsoft points--I think it was 200.

The game is solid gold and, definitely, worth the non-discounted price. Still, I find it interesting that the original non-discounted price is better than the current sale price.smile

The Outer Worlds base game has been on sale for 14.99 USD or equivalent. That means a bargain hunter will be shelling out 33 USD for the DLC. Whether you buy the Season Pass or the two DLCs individually, the best price is ~20 USD for the pair or ~10 USD for the individual DLC.

I like the game. I bought the base game, on sale, even though it. I was happy to pay top dollar for the DLCs when they came out, figuring Private Division was entitled to the increase for brand new content. Nevertheless, these continued high prices are nothing less than price gouging and I can't, in good conscience, recommend the game to a player on a budget.

On one hand if I get the base game free I’m more likely to pay for the DLC at full price. On the other hand that stuff has been out awhile now and I don’t understand their resistance to lowering the price more.

The larger issue is DLC for all GamePass games. GamePass is great. It would be greater if all games included DLC or provided DLC at a substantial discount.

I mean I know it’s a sub but I’m paying so little for each game I play it’s almost free. A 10-20% discount is nice but I’ve paid full price for some and felt fine about it even after the game went off Gamepass (after I was done and not probably coming back to it).

I think one of the draws to get developers on Gamepass is that it might be easier to sell DLC. So far I haven’t seen any DLC that I thought was out of hand because of Gamepass.

Yeah, that worked. I'm currently downloading it on my 360 Thanks!

Also, I'm not going to bother to wait for a sale for the DLC. $9.99 isn't really all that bad compared to some other games I want to get the DLC for.

For example, if I want to get the DLC for Painkiller: Hell & Damnation it's $35.94

Sorry if this is late, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially if going for the achievements as some of them are complete slogs.

Is Sega Vintage Collection: Alex Kidd & Co. also on sale? The game cannot be bought on xbox one, but 360 is possible. It cost $3.99 and backwards compatible, but I don't have access to historical prices, probably bc it is not on the xbox one store. The current price is similar to Monster World's sale price.

Yes, it's on sale @ 3.99 USD or equivalent. It's usually 9.99. I recommend it--it's a fun game or, more accurately, collection of games.
