Either this was a slow year for games, or there just aren't any good stand-out sales this year. Lots of older games. And the sale prices on newer titles don't even compare to retail Black Friday sales.

How is Dark Souls 3 for $29.99 a sale? It’s definitely been half that before

Incredibly disappointing. It's the same games at the same discounts that we get rotating every three weeks for the last 3 years.

Has anyone seen any sign of a general punch card for x number of dollars spent? I see there's one for movies but don't want to buy anything yet in case one shows up.

I bought like 5 or 6 games, I don't get why people are consistently unhappy. Seems like a great and expansive sale, yet comments are mostly just pedantic, whining about the one thing that isn't on sale or the variety. Could be much worse, just get on PSN and check out the sales there. The sales for PC particularly are great, Doom Eternal season pass, Control, Company of Heroes, and Wolfenstein II season pass for me.

Maybe I'll grab Lego City Undercover @ $5.99, also possibly Witcher 3 @$7.99 (I Have the expansions) to give me another option if I don't want to play my disc. These sales usually are underwhelming and I often find more in a random weekly sale.

Interestingly enough, Lego Batman 2 went on sale which basically made the Games with Gold thing null and void. At least the trick where you buy it through the marketplace for free and thus would "own" it forever. I already beat it a couple of years ago, but its the kind of game my son would love to play once he gets old enough. Just disappointing, that's all.
