Xbox Game Pass adds Resident Evil 2 and seven more games in January

    Pretty good list. I enjoyed Super Mega Baseball 2, but hate these high ego challenges. Hopefully there are some good strategies around those that come out now the game is on Game Pass. Still haven’t got the hardest one of those on 2…

    Valhalla is tempting, but I’ve heard it’s such a slog. Still a bit bitter that an achievement glitched on me in Odyssey as well. Will have to think about it. Not much else in the rest for me, but seems like a good list.

    Why isn’t we happy few always on gamepass since it’s made by one of their studios.

    It is published by Gearbox, who presumably own the distribution rights for that game.

    simple. u like horror u like the modern main line re games (re2,3,7,8) not so simple is the 0, 1, and code veronica. they r also great but they are fixed camera and much harder so its understandable for a lot of people to like it less. most games are different storys between different characters so youl never miss too much background and this isnt a problem at all with 7 or 8 bcuz they r there own story

    I really wanted to like it, but can't recall why I didn't. Either way, I wanna finish the main game, at least.

    Valhalla ran fine on my Xbox one, I ended up finishing it on series X later but did about half the game on the one. Only real difference was loading time was much better on series X but otherwise there were no issues on the one.
    Ok cool, I don't mind loading times so I hopefully won't have too many problems.

    Theoretically we should be able to, just like with Dead Space 2 and a few other games!
    When RE7 was in GP the jap stack also was, so I guess it's safe to assume that the jap stack for RE2 will also end up in GP.
    Having a Windows-stack for RE2 would be absolutely great, I'd start that right away. RE2 might be my favorite game of the last 10 years, only competition here might be Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

    They typically don't "stop tracking" but if you quit the game before it ends you don't get xp (which is needed for a lot of the achievements) and your tracker may not actually update. It's a really dumb system.

    This is good to know. However this sounds like a different issue from the complete loss of achievement progress that people are reporting in the forums.

    Sounds like a very new issue then, I thankfully 100%ed the game long ago

    Close to the sun was a really cool game. Very visually stunning. I'd recommend it.

    Sadly the DLCs are the worst part of this game. They are only worth it if you really enjoy the base game, since they feel like more of the same from the base game, which is already easily 100 hours to beat. Only the Dawn of Ragnarok adds some new mechanics and feels like a proper DLC. Also the Forgotten Saga DLC is pretty good, but that is free if you have the base game.

    Right now I've completed all the saga from the first to odyssey, all dlcs included.
    I only skipped the 360 versions because I started to play Xbox 3 years ago.
    When and if I will ever start valhalla then I have everything, good or garbage I have to experience that.
