Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or what, but it’s true.
I’ve seen posts from members saying how they won’t play certain games/DLC due to achievements or a lack of.
All that should matter is the game itself and how much you actually enjoy it.
Forcing yourself to play through a crappy, annoying game just for a number that has no real value it stupid.
I’ve said this before, but I don’t use this site for dick measuring. It’s a resource for news and tips/guides.
People do take achievements, which are ultimately completely worthless, way too seriously.
All it amounts to is dick measuring.
TBF mate you have like 230k gamerscore, you obviously enjoy getting achievements. And the fact that your saying what you did on a website that is mostly about achievements is abit strange.
We are all he because we love gaming and love getting achievements plain and simple.
That’s 230k from almost 16 years on Xbox.
Not exactly whoring achievements over here.
I used to be bothered about them years ago, but now they’re superfluous to my enjoyment of a game.
The only positive they have served in recent years is opening up different options in RPGs.
For example, if there’s a quest marked by an achievement I’ll follow it through where otherwise I might have missed it.
And I’ll reiterate, I’m not here to compare myself to others.
This site is purely a resource for news and guides as far as I’m concerned.
People who complain about achievements should really reevaluate why they play games. Because it’s clearly not for the enjoyment of the game.
