Assassin's Creed 'Buy 1, Get 2 Free' sale now live on Xbox store

Why is Assassin's Creed Liberation HD never included in a sale? I get that the AC3 remaster has a version of it but having it available separately would be cool for completion sake.

I own all of them anyway but I had picked them up cheap using my Microsoft points so didn't lose anything financially

I just bought a few Assassin's Creed games yesterday. I didn't use the promotional sale of Buy 1 Get 2 Free, however, I did end up buying Origins Gold Edition for $20 and Rogue Remastered for $9. With that being said, I almost own every Assassin's Creed game now that's part of the main series. The only one's I don't currently own as of now are, Black Flag and Unity which I'm debating on even getting due to them having online achievements that might be unobtainable? I've been on an serious AC binge these past few months though, I'm playing AC Brotherhood atm and will be starting Revelations once I'm finished doing everything needed for obtaining 100% Synchronization. Ezio Auditore is such a great character, I love seeing how his character evolves with each game in the trilogy.

Hope this isn't the start of a trend in BOGOF sales. Just do a decent discount if you're desperate to shift them.
Since it appears to be built in to the app itself, I wonder if this is a new feature added by Microsoft, or something that's always been possible.

Disgusting, shameful franchise. Ubisoft is an abomination.

I Don't think there is one, the AC3 Remaster is just both games merged into one. The game has 2000 gamerscore split evenly between the two games. The only version of Liberation sold individually on xbox was the xbox 360 arcade title which only had 400 gamerscore and is no longer available on the marketplace.

If anyones interested in AC Valhalla, it's currently 42 bucks for the Complete edition which has all DLC. Could probably get it for cheaper if you play the waiting game though.

I beat all of them, but if someone has not it def is worth it to buy 1 and get 2 free, even if they are on sale alot and yeah you can get most on like facebook marketplace ppl sell for cheap this is easier and pretty close to the same price.

I've never bought an Assassin's Creed and own 10 of them. I think they were all free via Gold. Wouldn't dare buy 1. Just sitting in the backlog with the others.

Yeah, it got delisted a while ago but tbf before that happened it has been the only 360 DLC that hasn't gone on sale anymore for a really long time. I ended up paying 20€ for it because I wanted the series completion.

For Unity I'm aware it has been having massive issues, but I think Black Flag is fine? If so and you end up enjoying Rogue you should definitely give it a go, it's the much better game.

No, it's definitely not worth it. Not sure how you can come to that conclusion.

Those are the usual prices for each game when they go on sale, which they do very frequently:

    Ezio Collection: £11.99
Black Flag: Not showing up for me for whatever reason but I'm pretty confident it's similar to Unity and Syndicate
    Unity: £7.49
    Syndicate: £7.49
    Origins: £8.24
    Odyssey: £10.99
    Valhalla: £14.99

I'm not even gonna list the Triple Pack as its £69.99 price tag is beyond stupid.

You can probably get Origins and Odyssey with all DLC packs and add Valhalla and still save money over this.

Wasn’t that the XBox Arcade one? I think it’s delisted at this point…

You can still play it in the AC3 remaster which includes all the AC3 DLC (which was definitely not great but whatever).

Never played any of these games. Which are the best 3?
Highly subjective, but I'd go with Black Flag, Origins and Odyssey. For what it's worth I believe those 3 also have the highest metascores. It's also important to note that the series went through a pretty drastic shift, Black Flag is vastly different from the other 2 games.

This is a terrible deal though. You can get the base games for less than 25£ total which is not even half of what you'd pay here. I guess it'd make the most sense to replace Black Flag with Valhalla but it'd still not even remotely be worth it.
This is a bad deal and shouldn’t be purchased. But I’d agree Black Flag and Odyssey are by far the strongest entries, but you’d want Freedom Cry DLC for the former and Fate or Atlantis trilogy DLC for the latter. They’re easily the best DLCs from any AC game and Freedom Cry is probably one of the best DLC of any game period.

AC games have always been about evolving the gameplay, I’d argue that most of its games have at least moderately important changes from all the others. Origins was also good, but all its best concepts were polished and far better done in Odyssey. If you play it definitely get the Curse of the Pharoahs DLC so you can revel in the pure weirdness.

Yeah, I got Odyssey Ultimate Edition on sale for like $25 or $30 like a year ago, and I got Valhalla Complete Edition for $40 a few weeks ago. I haven't started any of them yet, I'm going to finish The Ezio Collection then start AC3 Remastered afterwards. Then I'll probably play Liberations, Rogue, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey and then Valhalla last until I can pick up Mirage in the future. With that being said, I've been hearing rumors about an AC4 Black Flag Remastered in the works, I'm guessing it will just be the singleplayer content and achievements similar to what they did for AC3 Remastered. If that is indeed the case, then I'm definitely picking that up at some point.

Black Flag was a XBox One launch title. It did have a 360 version that came out like a month before the One came out, but it’d be weird to have a remaster. Releasing 4K textures I could see.

Buy some Assassins creed games and get games in which achievements repeatedly refuse to unlock despite you reaching the requirements.

Ezio collection being a riddled with bugs example. 14 achievements refused to unlock so far from ACII and AC:Brotherhood.

    Dire.

Congrats on doing that by the way! I'm working towards it ahead of AC Mirage. It's quite a feat, only about 50 gamers on the site have done it - given how popular the series is I always assumed it'd be more.

Same SCAM as the EA deal.

AC Unity for example cost 3 bucks on Xbox One for years on key shops.

Thanks, but I don't have the full completion tbh, I just got everything besides the Windows Phone Games. Good enough for me, those games are the main reason that number is so low.
