    Hi there,

Yeah, the author is making great progress on this. I really like what's written so far, but I do believe this WT to be a big undertaking considering some of the achievements. So, it may be a while before it's ready.

Yeah, I didn't think it would be a small write.

You would be VERY correct. This is a massive undertaking, but I guess I should probably give a more public update for reference while I am here.

I am currently structuring the walkthrough to have around 24 pages:
    - 3 pages for Overviews (Walkthrough, Gameplay, Story).
    - 12 pages for Track-specific walkthroughs (one each), with details regarding collectibles, Chorus (battle) encounters, Boss Fights, Track-specific Wall of Fame challenges, and ending with Rhythm Master advice.
    - 4/5 pages for Post-Story content (including SPECTRA Doors, Rhythm Tower and ending with the Wall of Fame).
    - 4 pages covering the Arcade Challenge! Update! (BPM Rush and Power Up! Tower Up!).

Right now, I have completed the Story walkthrough up to Track 6, and I am working on Track 7, alongside filling out the Wall of Fame page. I'm essentially working in order of the game's events, so I don't miss anything. Given that a lot of collectibles revolve around repeat playthroughs, I am also thinking of adding a sort of "collectible index" somewhere in the guide just to track them all a bit better, but I'll need to finish writing the Story sections first before fully considering it.

I am currently around 30-35% done with the whole thing. I'm also working on this around my current schoolwork (and a few other TA-related projects), but I hope to have the walkthrough a lot closer to completion by the end of September.

I'll probably start the game from scratch once the walkthrough is done., I am sure I've missed stuff in my current playthrough. LOL

There are a lot of collectibles throughout the game that won't actually open up until after your first playthrough, so you might be okay for now.

You'll also need to go through each individual Story mission at least 5 times for the game's hardest and most time-consuming achievement, so you'll definitely get everything along the way at some point.

    Hey everyone!

After nearly 4 months, the walkthrough is done! It's just awaiting review, which might take a bit of time due to the length.

    Walkthrough is 24 pages:
3 Overview (Walkthrough, General (Gameplay), Story)
12 Story (1 Page for each Track)
    Post-Game Overview
    Collectible / Enemy Annex
    SPECTRA Challenges
    Rhythm Tower
    Wall of Fame

4 Pages for Arcade Challenge! Update!
-(Overview, Power Up! Tower Up!, BPM RUSH!, Finale)

Overall, took a bit longer to complete than I thought (originally, I thought 3 months). I ended up writing over 85,000 words and uploading over 600 pictures to add to the pages (most of them collectibles in the Story Tracks).

    Bet you feel relieved

To be honest, I'm more eager to start up another one. Maybe not something as long and complex as Hi-Fi RUSH, but something I could get done in a week or two.

Although, I am considering looking into The Talos Principle's partial walkthrough and seeing where I could continue it.

For now though, I guess I am relieved that Hi-Fi RUSH is done.

What's the best way to tackle/start a walk-through, I would love to try one and there's many games I could think about doing but I have no idea where to start!

First of all, I'd recommend starting with a game that you enjoy, or at the very least have a decent idea on how to explain the path to earn all the achievements. I'd also recommend maybe something "small" to start off and get a feel for how to construct it. (Yes, I know I am saying this after spending 150-200+ total hours on my first one.)

Hi-Fi RUSH was kinda easy for me, because I loved the game. Spent 10+ hours on the day the Arcade Challenge! Update! came out to be one of the first completions, so I figured if no one else was gonna jump to do the walkthrough, I might as well. I knew I'd need a page for each Track (because of the amount of collectibles), then a page for each Post-Game piece of content, and everything after just built itself from there.

Second, TAKE YOUR TIME. These things can take forever depending on the game's length, and it definitely won't get done overnight. This is also why I say start with a game you enjoy or that you can explain easy, as something you understand will help with shaping the overall product.

Third, help is great. Ask for it if you need it. TA tries to pair you with an Overseer from the Walkthrough team that is somewhat familiar with the game in case you have questions. My overseer wasn't familiar with the game (not much of the walkthrough team seems to be), but they did help me out and show me the ropes before I shaped it the way I wanted.

TA also gives out a lot of resources in their forums on how a walkthrough should be initially constructed, but you are free to deviate if you feel the end product will benefit. Just run things by your Overseer before anything dramatic.

That's about all I can give you. Just start with something you enjoy/can explain, take your time, and ask for help.

(Shot in the dark, but I am considering taking on It Takes Two next, if you'd like to work together on creating your first one.)

Hey everyone, the walkthrough is out!

I did mention it in the walkthrough itself, but if there's anything that needs to be corrected, or anything that you feel should be changed, please let me know. I'll do my best to keep the walkthrough up-to-date with any updates or changes.

Other than that, enjoy Hi-Fi RUSH!
