For the amount of bugs and lack of performance polish this game has, a 6/10 is too generous.

    More like a 4/5 I think.

Why is it that all these "exclusives" for Xbox have such a lack of polish? This, PubG, State of Decay 2... Only Playground and Turn 10 are getting it right.
You do realize that 6/10=60% and 4/5=80%, correct?
I meant a 4 OR 5 out of ten. Sorry for the confusion.

The “perils” of taking hallucinogens...youve gotta be kidding me shock laugh This is purely a very exagerated drug designed to create a good world/story
    That was my thought, too.

Also, I played what waa available of this game when it was first introduced in the game preview program, despite the apparent flaws, I simply did not enjoy it. I'm not convinced I'd like it any more now.

I quite like the game & would recommend it to anyone who looks for an interesting story and some quirky humor. Plus, I experienced no crashes or notable bugs so far.

Had a feeling since the first reveal this would turn out to be a piece of poop and looks I was right. Too bad, the Bioshock-esqueness really intrugued me.

    It’s not exclusive.

Shame, looked so interesting, hopefully patches will sort it all out.

I've felt the same too. There's been a few games that have been in development over the last few years - this one included - that have been hyped up prior to release from day dot as the next big title (which I've simply not bought into) and then at launch they're disappointments. It's becomming far too common for my liking.
Stoke me a clipper, I'll be back for Christmas... Whatever!

Wow stop the press!! A game is released with lots of bugs in it. This and 99% of games released nowadays.
If you buy broke ass games it' up to you, there are plenty of gane that releases in good or playable states. Maybe if you'd stop buying unfinished games there would be less turds thats released
There is a huge difference between a game releasing and being good vs a game releasing and being playable.

We Happy Few is published by Gearbox and available on Xbox One, Windows, Steam, PS4 and PSVR. You're right though, it's Microsoft's fault /s lol

Even after several months and patches on the game, and it's inclusion into the game pass, THE GAME is still riddled with glitches, slipping off the map, quests which have missing pieces or glitch out after you restart or 'die' while doing them. The sneak mechanic is pathetic. They either see you from afar or don't even know you are close.

A very unbalanced and still broken game. but at least they fixed the broken achievements!

Well... sometimes it pays off to play a game very late. wink
I started We Happy Few recently on an Xbox Series S. I play on a 1440p screen and the game runs super smooth at 60FPS all the time. I didn't experience any technical issues or game breaking bugs.

I just finished the 1st act, playing as Arthur, and clocked in about 60hrs! I did every sidequest and explored literally every square inch of the game. I can't wait to go on and play the other two storylines.

So, if you have a Series S or X or a decent PC, I say give this game a chance. Otherwise you may miss out on a unique experience. wave
