I'm wondering if this game is still really buggy? I used to hear bad things about it but the trailers make the game seem really interesting.

Nevertheless this game is definitely overpriced.. Still after a year. They probably estimated that a lot more people would buy the game when it came out.

actually never tried this game because it only had negative press when it came out for being too buggy.
is it still that way or is it safe to play now?
it's on Game Pass so everyone could actually play for themselves.

It's not buggy. I played the base game from GP. It just runs poorly (under 30) and it shows. Other than that - amazing game if you like the big open areas, hoarding trash, crafting, assigning sill points and developing your character. It has a very stealth approach I would say.

I clearly remember Roger, James and Lightbearer from the main game. Victoria Byng, not so much. Can someone jog my feeble memory.
Gordon Bennett (yeah, that's my real name [some older Brits would understand that])

Looking to pick the deluxe edition up at some point, grab me the game and all the DLC. I know it's on game pass, but I'd prefer to just own it all eventually.

I’m happy the final dlc is out so I can finish this and never think about it again, but I’m annoyed that the final score for this game is 1540 laugh

The base game was okay. You could see by the level design the devs were uncertain about what the game was going to be. THere are massive open areas where you never need to travel to. The game needed to be more focused and less reactive to the 'preview' that it went through. I feel the devs changed their vision due to comments, one too many times, and this is what we got left with.

So yeah, it's okay, a bit glitched but nothing too distracting. Looking forward to playing the DLC. The voice acting is a great part of the game with strange and interesting characterization aplenty.

I love the idea that 'we' all live in a happy world by the pills that society force down our throats. Kinda mirrors our current consumerism ideals of an american dream which we have been sold to seek.

It's buggy as fuck. Seriously, don't play it. The problem with this game is based on randomly generated world at the beggining of the game. Sure, you can complete the whole game without any problems, but there are DOZENS of people (like me) who can't cause some NPC's doesn't spawn, plot related things doesn't act like they should Nick's fuckin hideout and that damn guitar puzzle. Achievements are pain in the ass, I spent like 10 hours to find last TV show (and it popped completely random...) The same problem was with Slaughter quest I had to reload my previous saves because I couldn't interact with story related device.

She was Arthur's boss, appearing right at the start of the game. Ollie also came across her...

Certainly not as memorable as the other DLC characters.

Not knocking the game, but based on what I've played and what's in that trailer, it hews so closely to Bioshock Infinite that Irrational could sue them for plagiarism.

By my guess I’m about halfway through this last dlc and I’m having some of the worst frame rate issues and longest loading times I’ve ever experienced.

Playing on a one x and this dlc loading times between areas is almost unbearable.

Never had any issues during my 45+ hours with this game prior
