So hyped to play this one.

Also coming to PC game pass today.
The lobby system and XP earning are so trash in these games. We will probably play this in a full private lobby for a few hours around Halloween and never touch it again. Much like we did with Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th.

    “Play 1973 public matches” headspin

    No "Blasphemous 2" review? Sad

Your character decides it can't use any escape routes for a match.
That sounds very rough on the few occasions it does happen.

Also, I still dislike the "play 1973 matches" achievement and hope it is not final, as the devs seemed to imply in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre achievements ask you to play 1,973 matches [updated]

It won't stop me from playing, but I don't think I've even played that many games of DbD and I love DbD

It's only happened on a couple of occasions for me, so not a regular occurrence, thankfully! I look forward to finding out what you think of it!

The review certainly piqued my interest, but the issues I had already anticipated will probably keep me away in the end.

I'm not sure how I feel about gory horror in general, I tend to prefer the good old suspense/jump scare combination more.

Games of this type seem to have too much of a grind to them, I know it's not the same thing, but Project Winter kept a group of us all entertained for a very long time and the achievements were achievable while still enjoying the game, I wish more of these MP games followed suit.

Only a few more hours until the slaughter begins!

The fact that this game was made by the creators of Friday the 13th game it's enough for me to not touch the game even for free in game pass. Personally, Friday the 13th was one of the most horrible games I've ever played, I felt I wasted money for buying it

I’d say if it’s based around the original film, that wasn’t a gory film by today’s standards. It was downright tame compared to the Saw films, for example. If I could hazard a guess, I’d say the game might have some dismemberment. I guess it depends on what you can handle gore-wise.
    Requiescat in pace.

I was just basing it on the video in the article, for me it's not really that I can't handle it, more that I personally don't see the point, a bit like the fatalities in Mortal Kombat, the only good bit was the speech saying 'finish him/her', the actions themselves seemed a bit over the top.

Obviously, with both the title and the source material, this isn't really a game for me! laugh

Wondering if the achievements can be obtained in private matches.

I’m getting the achievements aren’t supported when looking at the list, and the official club does not work

Possibly some issues with the embargo on the game not being properly lifted yet.
Should be fixed soon by Xbox/the devs hopefully!

I am excited to play this! However, what's up with it not being able to live stream it?
