TrueAchievements Game of the Year 2022 voting now open

By Luke Albigés,

As 2022 draws to a close, we want to hear about the games and achievements that made your year — come celebrate the best of the best with the TrueAchievements Game of the Year 2022 event!

Due to popular demand, the TrueAchievements Game of the Year event is back, with another bunch of categories in which to vote for your favourite games and achievements, in addition to our ongoing GOTY bracket votes which are set to run for the rest of the month. Any 2022 releases will be eligible in each of the individual votes, so you can champion whichever games from the last 12 months that were truly special to you.

TA Game of the Year 2022: how to get started

Simple — just head over to the event page then click on the 'Submit your votes' button, and you'll find 12 voting categories waiting for you. You're free to participate in as many or as few as you like, and can go ahead and tick that 'Only show games on my card' option if you'd like the dropdown menus to only show games and DLC that you have played.

The two main categories — overall 2022 GOTY and best Game Pass additions of the year — both allow for multiple votes. Please rank your choices properly as order will matter in compiling the results, although you don't have to fill in every field if you cannot or do not wish to. You can also hit the button on the event page again later if you wish to change any of your votes.

Voting will run until January 3rd, after which time we'll collate and share the full results, as well as digging into the data to see what interesting morsels we can find for you!

That's it! Happy voting, happy holidays from all of us here at TA, and may the best games win!
