The Flamethrower is a unique weapon only available to the support role of the
German,
American &
British factions.
To unlock the ability to use the Flamethrower you need to level up the
Support role to level
8.
This requires a total of 91,000 experience in support
Each level up of a role increases the exp. required to the next level by 4000.

Levelling up roles through natural play is a slow process that will take a lot of time to progress in.
A easy method to help speed this up is starting as an engineer and building all 3 nodes, then switching back to support.
This will give you an extra 10 xp per node, per minute that they are active. It doesn't sound like much but if you can keep them up for an hour, this will give you an extra 1800 xp a match.
Once you've reached level 8 in support you can customise and change the loadout to the Flamethrower. Simply kill 100 other players to unlock this achievement.
