Free-to-play FPS The Finals surprise drops onto Xbox Series X|S with achievements

What a surprise! Embark Studios has announced that its chaotic first-person shooter The Finals is now available on Xbox Series X|S with 50 achievements.

If you enjoyed the recent open beta for Embark Studios' The Finals — or missed out — you'll not have to wait to jump into the free-to-play multiplayer mayhem, as The Finals launches on Xbox Series X|S today.

We loved The Finals during its open beta in November, and were particularly impressed with its fantastic destruction physics, so to see it shadow-drop onto Xbox Series X|S today is super exciting. It's a free-to-play first-person-shooter, which pits multiple teams of players against each other in arena-style bouts for bounties of coins. It's fast, furious, and a ridiculous amount of fun.
