If, like us, you've been anxiously looking forward to it and could use some Spirittea-related news to help tide you over until then, good news: thanks to developer Dan Beckerton at Cheesemaster Games and publisher No More Robots, we can officially and exclusively reveal the Spirittea achievements! In Spirittea, we play as a writer who heads into the countryside with the goal of finding inspiration for their next book. However, this clear-cut plan goes sideways when we accidentally drink a tea which lets us see into the spirit world. The townspeople are slowly forgetting the spirits and the spirits themselves are causing mayhem. A cat spirit named Wonyan gives us the key to a bathhouse and we end up running the whole place. We'll be kept busy helping the spirits, running and upgrading the bathhouse, and looking after the spirits there. This is all along with befriending the townspeople, eating BBQ, fishing, bug catching, visiting the hot springs, exploring, customising your house, searching for ingredients, and more. All of this will be important in achievement hunting too; we'll need to catch all the bugs and fish, fully renovate the bathhouse, and earn enough money to buy a bicycle — we know that working at the bathhouse and catering to the spirits is how we earn money, so we'll need to do a good job there too.Spirittea Xbox achievement listName Description GamerscoreThe Countryside Experience Spend one year in town. 70 Bug Whisperer Catch all of the bugs. 70 The Collector Collect all of the figurines. 70 Under The Sea Catch all of the fish. 70 The Voice Get an S rating in all karaoke songs. 70Titanic Beat an NPC at the drinking minigame. 70 Fixer Upper Fully renovate the bathhouse. 70 Social Butterfly Become close friends with everyone in town. 70 Dedicated Finish writing your book. 70 Secret Achievement Continue playing to unlock this achievement. 70 Secret Achievement Continue playing to unlock this achievement. 70 Two Wheels Are Better Than None Buy a bicycle. 70 Beyond the Bridge Fix the bridge to the mountain. 70 Secret Achievement Continue playing to unlock this achievement. 50 Secret Achievement Continue playing to unlock this achievement. 40 As you can see, Spirittea still has some mysteries in store for us with four secret achievements — luckily, Beckerton was kind enough to give us a few hints on what we'll need to keep in mind to unlock those: remember that the town and the area around it are "quite active, even at night," and taking care of particular spirits in the bathhouse can earn you even greater rewards. Also bear in mind the importance of helping the spirits remember their identities. If you're looking to read more about Spirittea while we wait for it to arrive, check out our interview about Beckerton's thoughts on joining Game Pass, and our Spirittea interview where we go into more detail about the game itself!
