Hello, my name is Sir Noncy Dorp. I've been playing on the Xbox ever since I was five, first game I played was Halo: Combat Evolved. While I do enjoy some other retro consoles, my loyalty has always lied with Xbox. In 2004 my family was going through a tough financial time, but despite this, my dad scrimped and saved to buy Halo 2 on release. He knew how much I had been wanting to play it (I probably watched the gameplay demo included on the first game a thousand times). Since then, Halo 2 has been and I'm certain will always be my all-time favorite game.
For a long time I couldn't get my hands on an Xbox 360, my parents suddenly got very anti-video games for awhile. I earned my first achievement in late 2012 when I started Halo 4, and nine years later I would earn my last achievement in that game to bring me to my first 100K gamerscore.
I bought my first console, a seafoam Xbox One, in 2017 not long after my first paycheck. And since then I've been actively hunting achievements in some of my favorite games. I don't exactly have a lot of goals, I kinda just like showing off some of the stuff I've done.
To clarify, I'm not English. At the time of me making my gamertag, I was under the impression I was just creating a funny nonsense name. I had no idea what Noncy was a slang term for. I found out when I joined a TA session and a guy playing from the UK started laughing hysterically. I've kept it ever since because I think it's a funny story.
One day I'd like to write music for a game (I've already done so for a few short films). I am working on a long-term project with some friends but whether it will ever pan out or not I'm not sure. I could talk all day about the music from Halo, but I also thoroughly enjoy the music from Skyrim, Fable, Battlefield, Sea of Thieves, and several others.
I have a gaming channel on YouTube. If you wanna check it out, feel free. It's nothing super serious and I'm not very consistent with it for now, but it's there. Channel name is just my gamertag. Heck, if you wanna try and record some content with me I love collaborating.
And yeah, that's pretty much it. If you ever need help with an achievement, hit me up. I'm usually down for almost anything (except Halo CE LASO).
