Sea of Thieves' second big content drop of Season Ten rolls out today and includes the game's first-ever competitive PvP-focused voyage, The Skull of Siren Song, and five new achievements to unlock.

The Skull of Siren Song is a new PvP-focused voyage that pits crews against each other in a big server-wide race to find a powerful ancient artifact. Once the Skull of Siren Song voyage is active in-game, you will find a ghostly note pinned to your ship's mast. Crews who accept the voyage will all be given two maps: one that leads to the locked chest that holds the treasure and another to the key that opens it. Once you've dug up one of these items and dealt with any enemies that might be lying in wait, it will become visible to all crews on the voyage, so you will need to defend your booty while scrambling to the second item.

When you have both the key and the chest, you will be given the Skull of Siren Song, which is not only a powerful weapon but can be turned in for a big reward. However, with the Skull in your possession, waves of Coral Skeletons will attack you on land, and out on sea, your ship will be slowed. Not only that, but all crews can now see where the Skull is on the map and the destination it must be taken to claim a reward, so you'll need to be on your guard at all times.

With the Skull of Siren Song voyage, there are five new Sea of Thieves achievements to unlock, which look like they could prove a challenge. You will need to return 30 Skulls of Siren Song to Captain Briggsy, unlock 40 chests, dig up 50 chests or keys, win a Skull of Siren Song voyage, and sink a ship carrying a Siren Song treasure to complete the title update.
