Running out of storage space for all your games and don’t want to uninstall anything? It’s a pain we know all too well, but we might have a solution for you — the normally ludicrously expensive Seagate Storage Expansion Card is on a massive discount in the Amazon Prime Day deals.

Right now, you can pick up the 1TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S for $129.99. That’s an impressive $90 saving on the usual price of $219.99, and it finally brings it into a price bracket where we’d consider buying one.

If you're in the UK, sadly no Seagate deal for you, but there is £20 off this Western Digital 1TB storage expansion.

While you can plug any old SSD into your Xbox and use it to store games, these cards from Seagate were designed in partnership with Xbox to ensure that games run seamlessly off them without causing additional latency or sacrificing performance. They’re a proprietary design that slots into a port on the back of the console, so there are no ugly wires ruining your beautiful setup either.

We were excited for these things when they were first announced, but the steep price quickly put us off. At $219.99 for a 1TB expansion, you’d probably be better off just buying yourself a second Xbox Series S if you needed more storage. $129.99 is a lot more palatable.

The deal is only available for Amazon Prime Members as part of its Prime Big Deal Days sale. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime at their website. After the trial period, Prime costs $14.99/month (plus tax). With that, you get free delivery on most things on Amazon, along with access to Prime Video and exclusive deals (like this sale).

The Prime Big Deal Days sale is live now and runs until the end of Wednesday, October 11.
