How to unlock the Record Breaker achievement

    The quickest way is simple just play the team of the week team in squad battles and quit the game once the ball has kicked off. When you hit 200 game just ride it out and wait for it to unlock during the game I'm sure.

    This is how it's been for years.

    Helpful to rack up a bunch of contracts before you begin this.

    *** Disclaimer ***

    After a lengthy number of quitting squad battle games you may encounter an error which ends up preventing you from doing so. Fear not, the "temp ban" should be over in a day and just play a few games fully then attempt this again.

    This solution is to help you save time from this grindy achievement if you for whatever reason don't like the FUT game mode and want the achievement over. It's simple enough to complete as we all know but the time saver certainly helps.

    Alternative method (credit to Neo Yggdrasill in the comments)

    Find someone who already has a player with 200+ appearances and do a co-op squad battle match. Should you have zero luck with that, the original solution would suffice for progress much quicker than the legit way.

    Neo YggdrasillBe extremely careful when attempting this. I used this method to boost 65 matches and started getting occasional error messages, now my matches on both Squad Battles and Rivals don't count at all anymore. Unless this somehow fixes itself I'm locked out of the lvl 40 and the Milestone 3 achievements. According to the FIFA 20 guide for the corresponding achievement a similar issue already existed back then, which in conjunction with the error messages starting to pop up when I boosted leads me to believe that there's a connection. Maybe I got blacklisted for playing too many games in a short period or whatever, I don't know.

    It's not the OP's fault but I'll have to dislike this solution as it's potentially harmful until my situation gets resolved or I figure out what to do about it.

    DD91Dislike it all you want, this is just a "temporary ban". Once it's done this, just give it a day and move on to another game or achievement. To quit 65 games in a row is a fair chunk of time saved compared to 65 "legit squad battle" games.

    Don't panic it'll go back to normal tomorrow like it has done for years. It's never a permanent ban only a temp ban.

    Neo YggdrasillI'll change it to a like once I can confirm that this is true, thank you for adding the disclaimer. I wasn't aware of such a thing existing and if it wasn't temporary or lasted longer it would potentially lock you out of certain achievements for good.

    In the meantime I was still able to have my matches count on the Xbox One version.

    Neo YggdrasillUpdate: Roughly 30h after I was done boosting my matches on current gen are counting again.

    If you're going for this method and end up getting a temporary ban (there really should be some sort of message btw) you can play on the Xbox One version just fine while you're waiting for the ban to be lifted. You usually won't be able to access FUT immediately if you've just been playing on a Series console but for me after 30 minutes to an hour it works.

    Worth noting that the most efficient method for this achievement is still to get into a Co-Op match with someone who already has a player with 200 appearances.

    DD91Does that co op 200 appearance method still work? To be fair I've done it that way a few years back but no surprise the game is exactly the same. Will add to the solution.
