Lies of P game director Jiwon Choi has confirmed that Neowiz is developing a sequel for its Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike game. On top of that, Choi has teased Lies of P's first DLC with two pieces of concept art, offering us a glimpse at what looks to be a nautical-themed adventure.

In a director's letter video, Lies of P game director Jiwon Choi confirmed that Neowiz is developing the game's sequel and first post-launch DLC. “Our highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel,” Choi said. “The dev team is putting in significant effort, brainstorming and exploring different aspects of the projects.” Much like the sequel, Choi has only teased that DLC is coming to Lies of P, although the director has offered up two pieces of concept art for the upcoming content — and it looks like we're going to need our sea legs for this new adventure.

Following its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on September 18, Neowiz revealed that Lies of P had sold over a million copies in its first month, despite the fact that it launched straight into Xbox Game Pass. With that in mind, it comes as little surprise that the developer has plans to release a sequel to the Soulslike action-RPG. Right now, Neowiz is keeping details about the sequel close to its chest, only confirming that one is in development.

Earlier this month, Neowiz had a job posting that specifically mentioned "DLC planned for production," so we had expected the studio to be working on additional content for the game. A post-credits character tease (via IGN) could give us a hint at what's to come in the DLC... or maybe the sequel?

More content is never a bad thing, right? Especially if you've already unlocked all of the Lies of P achievements.
