This achievement is currently worded wrong or coded incorrectly. This achievement is currently tied to the in game achievement Jewelry Trait Master, which requires you to learn one of each jewelry trait once, on one character. It will unlock after you have researched a combined 9 traits of each unique trait between rings and amulets- credit to Metal Preston for the observation.
Example( You can do Arcane, Healthy, Robust and Triune in rings and Protective, Infused, Swift, Harmony and Bloodthirsty in amulets to get a combined 9 different traits researched.) You can do any combination, as long as you research all 9 unique traits. It's fastest to do 4 and 5.
The 9 traits that need researched are:

Healthy
Robust
Triune
Protective
Infused
Swift
Harmony
Bloodthirsty
To research a trait, you must first have a amulet or ring that has a trait that you haven't learned yet. Locate a jewelry crafting table in any of the cities usually near an enchanting table. Once here, choose the research option and choose which item you wish to research. This will destroy the item and give you a research cool down time. The more traits you learn, the longer the cool down. This may take up to 5 months to get 9 traits in both jewelry types if you do not use any type of skill point passive in the jewelry skill or research scrolls.
The fastest way to research is to buy crown researching scrolls (Purchased in increments for real currency, Microtransactions). There is no cool down:
1 Day for 400 crowns
7 days for 2500 crowns
15 days for 5000 crowns.
You can buy Voucher scrolls of 1 day in the voucher merchant in Mournhold, Elden Root, and Stormhaven for 10 vouchers each. Vouchers are earned by completing Master Writs. There is a cooldown of 20 hours until you can use another.
Power level your Jewelry skill tree and put skill points into a passive that reduces research time by a little bit. The last skill point at level 47 grants a reduction of 25% time and a maximum of 30 days on the final trait. To power level the skill, it is ideal to buy or farm CP 160 jewelry from dolmens.
