Happy Birthday achievement in Vampire Survivors

These are the caterpillar type enemies in the new dlc!
There's a hidden area in the map where these spawn constantly. At the start go right and a little up until you find a cave maze, follow it to the left and you'll pop out to a meadow area. Go up/right until you see the Sammies pop out of the walls. At the top of the Square area is an opening for you to go in and farm these kills out.

I have the unlock in the game checked for defeating 6000 sammies but the achievement didn't unlock. Is anybody else having issues?

@freyguy try typing in "happybirthday" in the forbidden scrolls of Morbane, load into a level, and quit. Maybe that will help? Im not too sure on how to fix it besides that.

Sammies are #131 in the Bestiary (under Sammy the Caterpillar) if you want to check your total kills.

So I did one run with Sigma on this map, went to that cave and basically parked there. Going into the run I had 5 kills of sammies, and after the run was over I had 41,323. Great solution!

great guide! i played on hurry and still managed to kill 12000 of these guys. also, they seem to drop health recovering items, and i dunno if the game glitched on me or i just picked up so many, the reapers (like 15 of em) couldnt kill me for 20 minutes

Worth mentioning, when you get to the hidden map room/cave for these to spawn, you want to stay toward the middle/middle-right of the room. If you go too far to the left, top, or bottom, some of the enemy spawns will start being monkeys instead of caterpillars (Sammys).
