Forza Horizon 5 celebrates the Day of the Dead with themed decorations, collectibles, and 12 new achievements for Xbox and PC players to collect.

Día de Muertos, aka the Day of the Dead, is one of the most iconic holidays in Mexico — which just so happens to be where Forza Horizon 5 is set. To get in on the festivities, the Horizon festival will adopt traditional Día de Muertos colors and decorations for a four week period, from October 10 until November 10.

As part of the celebrations, we’re also getting 13 new Forza Horizon 5 achievements to unlock, worth 235G total. That might sound like a weird number, but given that the game currently has a total of 2,265G available, this will round out the list nicely to 2,500G. You can see the full list of achievements below.

Beyond the new decorations, outfits, and achievements, there are also a few new cars turning up in Forza Horizon 5. The 2010 Nissan Tsuru is joining the festival playlist as an unlockable, while the Super Speed Car Pack will add four new cars:
  • 2022 Volkswagen Golf R,
  • 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS,
  • 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2
  • 2019 Elemental RP1
Finally, there is a new Drift Camera available for the chase view, which can be accessed via the HUD and Gameplay section of the settings menu. With this you can modify the camera angle, look speed, and distance from the car to tailor it perfectly for your drifting needs. There is a full list of all the additions on Forza.net
