That's right, ahead of Alan Wake 2's release later on October 27, Remedy's Alan Wake will be available to buy as a new skin in Fortnite as part of the battle royale game's annual Fortnitemares event. Joining Alan Wake is Jack Skellington from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (He's also bringing his Santa Jack costume as well) and Halloween's Michael Myers. All three of the new character skins can be found in the item shop later during Fortnitemares 2023. On top of the skins already mentioned, there are some other new and returning outfits, such as a muckfish Bogstick, Phantom Meowscles, and nautilus Festival Phaedra.Fortnitemares 2023 also sees the return of fan-favorite Horde Rush mode, where you and your team will need to travel to different locations and survive the Cube Monster horde before attempting to beat the final boss. There are also both new and returning Halloween-themed weapons and items, such as the Wood Stake Shotgun, Pumpkin Launcher, and Witch's Broom. Fortnitemares is live now and runs until November 3. In other Alan Wake 2 news, Remedy recently called the GPU in the Xbox Series S "an issue".
