Another huge wave of easy 1,000G title updates rolls out across 34 Xbox games

It's that time of year again as 34 Xbox games, the majority from publisher eastasiasoft, have just received easy title updates worth 1,000 Gamerscore each. [updated]

Update #2: Well, the ~~years~~ title updates start coming, and they don't stop coming. It seems eastasiasoft wasn't quite finished rolling out easy 1,000G updates for its back catalog yesterday, as the publisher has just updated another 12 games.

Agriculture (Windows), Lily in Puzzle World, Lily in Puzzle World (Windows), Swapshot, Swapshot (Windows), Settris, The Traveler's Path, Rayland 2, Rayland 2 (Windows), Hell Well, Ravva and the Phantom Library, and Shivering Stone (which isn't even out yet but somehow already has two title updates worth 1,000G each) have all received new title updates. We've added these to the original list below.

Eastasiasoft has now added a total of 32,000 Gamerscore to its games over the past few days. We'll update you again if the publisher decides to add any more.

Update #1:
Another four games from eastasiasoft have also received easy 1,000G title updates. Pocket Witch, Agriculture, Excessive Trim, and Betomis all now have new achievements to unlock. We've added these games to the bottom of the original list below.

Love it or hate, developers and publishers are not slowing down when it comes to adding easy 1,000G title updates to their games. With the majority coming from eastasiasoft, 34 quick completions were recently updated with free and easy title updates worth 1,000G apiece.

These updates first rose to prominence back in 2020 when publisher Xitilon started adding simple five-achievement lists worth 1,000 Gamerscore each via free updates to its back catalog of games. This proved divisive at the time among the achievement hunting community, with some saying it devalued Gamerscore.

Since then, numerous developers and publishers have hopped on the easy title update bandwagon, including eastasiasoft, which added nearly 20,000G in easy title updates in one fell swoop early last year. Now, the publisher has done the same thing again.

We recently picked up 22 title updates worth 1,000G each across 34 games, 32 of which are from Eastasiasoft. The two games not from eastasisoft are Taco Tom 2 and Akinofa. Here is the list in full:

Xbox games updated with easy 1,000G title updates

Last year, we saw Microsoft attempt to clamp down on easy Gamerscore titles by introducing changes to the rules that govern achievements. However, it seems that, for whatever reason, developers and publishers have been able to skirt around these rules when it comes to title updates. As part of our Xbox 2024 predictions, we think Microsoft could put an end to easy 1,000G title updates this year with further rule changes.
