Techland partnered with mod.io last year to add the feature to Dying Light 2 on PC and it seems to have been a success, so now you can access the content on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as well. You'll find the Community Maps tab in the game's main menu, where you'll be able to pick where you'd like to slaughter the infected next. Additionally, changes have been made to the game's Brutality level, which now includes even more gore, but also comes with a new setting so you can choose how much of the good stuff you see. You have options for full, limited, and minimum gore, which is great if you're a bit squeamish, but less gore also reduces the load on your system which is great for streamers and content creators too. On top of that, a new modifier called "Alterations," will now introduce short-time activities to the world for a bit of extra fun.If you plan on jumping into Dying Light 2 to check out the new Summertime Update content, you could unlock some fancy rewards thanks to the new Payday 2 crossover event. The event runs until September 21 and fills the streets and Dark Hollows with Infected Robbers loaded with the new Red Diamonds. Collecting these will help you reach your event goals.Speaking of event rewards, Techland has introduced a new premium currency called Dying Light Points, which can be spent on skin bundles from the in-game store. You'll need to spend real-world money to purchase the Dying Light Points, much like any other premium in-game currency, but all players who log into the game before October 7 will be given 500 "DL Points" as a bonus.Following its delay earlier this year, Techland is yet to give us any juicy details about the new Dying Light 2 expansion, but you can be sure that we'll let you know once word is out.More Dying Light 2: Stay Human stories: Dying Light 2 finally adding guns alongside a wealth of free content Tencent to acquire major stake in Dying Light developer Techland Dying Light 2 getting crossover event with The Walking Dead Dying Light 2 DLC delayed, new update rolls out on Xbox this week Dying Light 2 giving away free DLC in classic Xbox 360 game crossover Game UpdateXbox Series X|SXbox One Written by Tom WestTom has been playing video games since he was old enough to hold a controller, experimenting with a number of systems until he eventually fell in love with Xbox.
