Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 release date set for September 21The free update will redesign Cyberpunk 2077's skill trees, add vehicle combat and car chases, improve combat AI, add a new police system, revamp cyberware, add a new capacity system, improve UI, make changes to loot and crafting, and add a couple of new radio stations. CD Projekt Red has also shown off some examples of new character builds you can create with the changes ushered in with Update 2.0. The Savage Slugger Solo build combines perks that will turn you into an unstoppable melee force, while the Hack-&-Slash Netrunner build allows you to hack pretty much anything, including vehicles that can be turned into bombs. Our favorite is the Bullet-Time Ninja build, which focuses on blades, deflecting bullets, and flying through the air in slow motion while shooting enemies. Update 2.0 will be available to download on September 21, five days before the launch of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty on September 26 — and yes, the expansion will feature new achievements.More Cyberpunk 2077 stories: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.01 promises Dogtown performance improvements Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty adds 13 new Xbox achievements Poll: Will you be playing Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty?
