Following yesterday's news that Microsoft expects to launch the next Xbox console in 2028 and that The Elder Scrolls VI will be an Xbox exclusive, additional court documents uploaded to a public website that appear to have been improperly redacted, have revealed that Bethesda has multiple projects slated to launch in the coming years.

Bethesda is working on Dishonored 3, Doom Year Zero, and more

According to recently surfaced documents from Microsoft's court battle with the FTC, Bethesda aims to release a number of remastered titles alongside brand-new games in the coming years. Alongside already announced games and content like Indiana Jones and Starfield DLC, it seems Arkane Studio is working on Dishonored 3 — it's worth noting that this document was put together in July 2020, long before Redfall launched, so it looks like the team was already whittling away at the next Dishonored game.

On top of that, it looks like a new Doom is in the works, titled Doom Year Zero. The game is yet to be revealed, though, so whether we'll be getting a follow-up to Doom Eternal or whether it'll be a step in a new direction is unknown. It does look like DLC is planned to be released around the same time as the game launches, followed by more DLC a year later.

On top of that, it looks like the company is working on remastering The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3, both of which have been rumored for a little while now. Scattered throughout the list are numerous untitled projects: Project Hibiki, Project Kestral, and Project Platinum (which is expected to have an expansion). It's believed that Project Hibiki is the fantastic Hi-Fi Rush from Tango Gameworks, which launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC in January, but the other two projects and the "Licensed IP game" are currently unknown. Speaking of Tango Gameworks, it looks like the developer is working on a sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo, which came to Xbox earlier this year after a stint as a PlayStation console exclusive.

It seems we have plenty to look forward to from Bethesda in the coming years, not just in terms of new games and IPs but remasters of two fantastic games as well. Both The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 were incredible Xbox 360 games, so knowing we'll be able to experience them again on new hardware is exciting indeed!

Elsewhere, these court documents have leaked Microsoft's plans for new Xbox Series X|S consoles and a new Xbox controller.
