My advice once you have the brief starting quests in Dublin done, is to clear all raids to get the trade supplys. then goto every trade outpost do the task in hand then gather the deed. You only have to upgrade 2 things at each outpost to get maximum text/clothing etc every minute. Make sure you visit the overseas trading post every 30min to claim the supplys, then give the stuff to the person next to the chest to build up renown. Some of the champion armour you need for the other achievement is within this task of turning in texts/clothing etc.
