Alan Wake 2 Xbox achievement list reveals a Dark Place filled with collectibles

Alan Wake 2 is out now on Xbox Series X|S, and its achievement list has revealed that you'll need to find a lot of collectibles for the 1,000G.

After a 13-year long wait, Alan Wake 2 is finally here, and we now have the survival horror game's Xbox achievement list, which, much like the first game, features a bunch of collectibles.

While you won't be searching every nook and cranny for 100 coffee thermoses this time around, there are still plenty of Alan Wake 2 achievements that will require tracking down numerous other items. From what we can tell, there are achievements related to finding every weapon for both characters, finding all the charms, finding all nursery rhyme dolls, finding and completing all nursery rhyme puzzles, watching all commercials, watching all the Writer's Journey videos, and finding all cult stashes and lunch boxes, so there is a lot you'll need to keep your eyes peeled for. As for the rest of the list, it looks pretty standard, with achievements related to completing the story and combat.

Remedy recently revealed that Alan Wake 2 will be getting a New Game+ mode sometime after launch that will include an alternative narrative. It also has plans to release two paid expansions as well as some "pretty significant" free DLC packs.

The Alan Wake 2 reviews have also been extremely positive, which means it could end up taking a spot on our list of the best Xbox horror games.
