Achievement unlocked — 1,000,000 registered users!

We did it, folks! Less than a year after reaching 750,000 registered users, we have just smashed through the 1,000,000 registered users milestone.

Having this happen on Valentine's Day seems incredibly fitting, given the love so many of us have poured into TrueAchievements over the last 15 years.

I remember going to one of my first ever gaming events at EGX in 2010, and while queuing up for a sandwich, I overheard two guys in front of me discussing achievement "ratio." I realised at that point that I might have stumbled into something very special.

I want to thank everyone for the support they've given the site during this time: the guide writers, the gaming session hosts, the walkthrough authors, the various volunteer teams, and so many others. We wouldn't be where we are today without your efforts!

Yo! Rich here - I was the one that created TrueAchievements back in 2008 as I felt the Xbox Gamerscore system could be improved. The site has evolved massively since then and it's now the biggest and best Xbox community on the planet! Racing games and open world shooters are my thing, but I'll give most genres a go. Except RPGs - those things are evil.
